Every single item I ordered was superb. The clanlm chowder is hearty!! The wedge salad is incredibly tasty. The fried shrimp and lobster roll entrees were excellent! The service was so hospitable. Can't wait to go back.

Just passing by so this review is only about cocktails. One cocktail in particular, the "Salem" it's a spicy margaritas riff. I'll be honest the review is more about the Bartender and no telling if she'll be working when you stop by. I'll come back and try the food and assume the gm has the same eye for talent in the front as in the back. The Bartender made the most unorthodox marg I have ever seen. She didn't shake built it in the glass never used a jigger and free poured even out of a sysco lime juice bottle with no spout on it. I was prepared to absolutely destroy her on this review but dag nab it I can't argue with the results. It was a very balanced spicy margarita and I don't know if it was the recipe or the maker but I'll be back to try the food. I recommend grabbing a "Salem" at Boston commons and then a spicy margaritas at bartaco next door. Which one do you think is best spicy marg in 5 points?
I ordered and had for the first time a Lobster Roll. The waitress asked if I wanted it (hot) with butter or (cold) with mayo. I ordered hot with butter and was not disappointed.
First time dining at BC and we were very pleased. We had the Signature, British and New England variations of the Fish & Chips, all of which were crispy and flaky and not a bit greasy. The accompanying french fries were some of the best we've had. Prices were reasonable, the servings generous and the staff helpful and friendly.
East Nashville has a lot of great places to eat, but Boston Commons is my favorite. I’ve enjoyed almost everything on the menu (including their desserts) and it has never disappointed. The fish, no matter what variety you try, is amazing. I enjoy the English-style the most. If you like grits try their Shrimp & Grits, or a side of Green Chili Grits. The waitstaff are always friendly, affable and helpful as well.
There’s a nice bar area as well where they pull a great pint of Guinness!
The clam strips are to DIE for. Their tartar sauce is also perfect. I’ll be back to devour these real soon.
Boston Commons is a fantastic local spot that I cannot recommend enough!!! They're usually not too busy and now accept reservations. Their fish and chips are the best in the area, their frying is absolute perfection. Definitely recommend the british and pub style fish and chips as the best on the menu, huge portions and the fries are perfection. Service is always good and friendly and a really fun patio!
Well what can I say all around amazing...food....service...atmosphere....just happened to get it and glad we did!!!!
Absolutely delicious!! Truly New England meets Nash will seafood that is affordable and good!! I’ve gone back 2 times already!
