The staff is very friendly, the performer was perhaps one of the best guitar players I have ever seen, the food and service was exceptional and it had a very special Nashville ambiance to it. We are not from Nashville and it was a very positive experience for us!
Robert's Western World is not just my favorite hangout in Nashville...it's my favorite bar in the world! Great traditional country music, delicious food and cold beer. It just doesn't get any better!!!
RWW is a classic staple of Broadway in downtown Nashville. The same awesome band has played from 6-10pm for years. It's an older, more mature crowd, but has much more authentic vibes and it's always packed. Toward the front there's a cash-only bar to get a quick beer so you don't have to wait in line at the main bar. This place is always worth stopping in when you start your night on the town!
I loved everything about this place. Great music, friendly service, authentic old-school vibe, and cheap food + beer! Totally different from the other bars on Broadway in the best way.

Robert's Western World is the Honky Tonk that most of the locals actually go it and isn't overally tourstic. We went with friends and it was packed. We luckily found a table and ordered food & drinks.
The food is dirt cheap compared to most of the places on Broadway. Cheapest beers are $2.50 and their popular Recession Special comes with a bologna sandwhich, small bag of chips, a moon pie, and a PBR for only $6 bucks. Lots of people in the bar ordered the cocktails too. The drink and food is average but the price is fantastic. The staff is swamped, so you need to be patiant when it comes to ordering, getting the check etc. But everyone is friendly.
The live music was great! Really talented bands with friends and family who turn up to support them so it feels a lot more homey and fun. The bar is all about the music so they try not to distract from it with fancy lights, effects, or gimmicks. We also found that the music was quiet diverse and loved the variety.

Traditional/Classic Country Music mixed with a little Blue Grass occasionally.
Very friendly and courteous bartenders even though they were extremely busy.
Menu had a “Recession Special” fried Bologna sandwich on toast with lettuce and tomato, a bag of chips, a moon pie and a 12 ounce can of PBR for $6. Don’t know how you could beat that on Broadway in Nashville in middle of all the bars.
Lots of pretty girls dancing, good country music, friendly staff, and full bar.
My new wife took me to this fine honkey tonk after a nice quiet birthday dinner, despite the tornado sirens a whailin'. I thought I was done for the evening after dinner but boy, was I wrong! We danced the night away and drank some good IPA's surprisingly. We tried a fried balcony Sammy that came with a PBR, all for $6. Three different bands cycled through, and all were not shy walking around with the tip jar, which we gladly contributed to. Will definitely be back, with my dancin' wife. Life is good!
My favorite Honky Tonk on Broadway. The performers were incredible and the vintage-ness of Robert’s just makes the experience that much cooler. Plus, they have some of the best drink prices in town.
Fantastic little bar, with a great vibe, great live music and great staff. The prices are so reasonable! ($2.50 for a PBR) We have already recommended to others.
We found Robert's on our first day in Nashville. We had already visited a few of the huge multi-level places. Robert's was a breath of fresh air! Old school country music and an awesome laid-back atmosphere. Please try the food when you are there. It is great too. Don't miss Robert's if you travel to Nashville.
Best bar on Honky Tonk row! Kelly’s Heroes is a truly amazing band and the Recession Special is a greatly appreciated break from the high dollar food and drink in the rest of the bars.
What a gem of a place! I was staying in Downtown Nashville for a work conference and totally expected to have my only options nearby be tourist traps and/or overpriced bougie nonsense. Robert's Western World was a lifesaver. Fantastic live music that wasn't just the same ol' covers, burgers that came straight out of a well-loved dive, and friendly, attentive staff. Great atmosphere as well. Definitely got too packed for my tastes at night but if you got a hankering for some good music and a reasonably priced beer to escape from the mediocrity, this is the place to be.
