I ordered delivery. The food was so delicious. I'm mad at myself for only ordering a 4 pack of tacos which I all but inhaled. I could easily have done 8. I ordered the spiced chicken Verde, spiced chicken Verde bowl w/extra chicken, and a side of chips and salsa Verde. I also got their pineapple and Rojo hot sauce. The hot sauces are a bit too hot for me buy that pineapple hot sauce had amazing flavor. The chicken bowl came with an avocado salsa, I don't eat avocado because it normally makes me ill. I was so hungry so I went ahead and tried it. It was really good. I'm hoping there's no ramifications from the avocado. The flavor was very citrusy. The tacos, so flavorful and fresh. The chips for the salsa and really big rounds. Mine came with 5. They were very crunchy and tasted fresh. I would definitely recommend ordering the 8 pack over the 4. You can never have too many tacos. Update: came in today for more tacos because I was just craving them. They are so good. The ambiance is wonderful. It's so casual and upbeat. Everyone seemed happy to be at work. The way you place orders really eliminates errors from customers ordering food and blaming servers because the customer is responsible for placing their own orders. Seems smart. You also have an open check so when you order a taco and decide you need more you can just add them. My kids ordered the fried plantains, tajin pineapple, and duck tacos. The duck tacos are like dessert. The tajin pineapple was so weird and good. The staff were very helpful with ordering and ensuring our food was brought out safely. There is paid parking behind the building.

Decided to try out bartaco because it had some of the best prices on 12 South AND it was packed. I’m so glad we found this place! The restaurant was super busy on a Saturday evening, but even without a reservation we were able to snag a seat right away at the bar (full service). The service is amazing, shoutout to Noah and Ari at the bar- they were both very attentive, kind, and efficient. In fact, it was hard not to notice how hard the entire staff was working & zooming from place to place to best serve their customers. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Rice Bowl and the Chicken Rice Bowl, and shared the large kale Cesar salad, all the dishes were great and we were served quickly. The rice bowls are on the smaller side, so if you come hungry, I’d order a couple of tacos too! The vibes are immaculate- the bar hosts a lot of young couples while the tables seated larger groups and even some young families (have a kids menu!). Also, sometimes it’s hard to find a bar with decent non-alcoholic options (that are more than just fruit juice in a cup) but the pomegranate lemonade was SO good!!!! Lastly, the key lime pie in a cup was delicious- definitely a homemade taste with the fresh cream and graham cracker crust!

Fresh made and all gluten free!!! Carafe of freshly brewed tea slightly sweetened with agave! Freshly prepared desserts! Awesome staff! All food made to order. Endless variety and feel free to leave ingredients off pee your taste or sensitivities. Made the Southern girl in me sing and satisfied my street taco cravings in beautiful setting with GREAT music. My favorites are the oyster and Baja fish tacos.

Every day should be Taco Day. Bar Taco takes tacos to a whole new level. For a limited time, they are serving lobster tacos and other lobster dishes. My favorites are the shrimp, steak and cauliflower tacos. They are not just tacos, they are a performance of flavors for your palate. I always get the spicy cucumbers and if you don’t like spicy food, don’t let the word “spicy” scare you. The cucumbers have the appropriate level of heat. The black beans are seasoned to perfection. Did I mention they serve plantains with a delicious sauce that will have you licking your fingers. If you are carb conscious, ask for your tacos to be served on a leaf of lettuce. Try one of their numerous cocktails made with fresh fruits.

Food and drinks were outstanding. I crave that glazed pork belly taco still. Service was a little weird - our server sat down next to me and started talking about his day which we found a little odd. You order through an app and after we were done with our meal, we had issues adding my food to the bill. We asked one of the servers what to do and they told us to go get the QR code again and it should be fixed but we went back to the table, we were told by 2 different people that we weren’t allowed to sit there if didn’t see a host and we needed to move from the table… in front of a full section. It was embarrassing and we were just trying to pay for our meal😭 I would go back for the food but not the experience.
