What a box of sushi! All the sushi rolls were fresh and excellent! The tempura dragon roll was really tasty with nice, crispy tempura shrimp. The summer roll was good, but FYI the crab stick is actually spicy! The pork Gyoza--steamed--had delicious flavors and a nice dipping sauce. Appreciate this restaurant's efforts to keep everyone safe by only offering takeout food. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Nags Head!

Yes, yes yes! I’ve taken two trips to Nags Head; there are seafood options ALL over. But if you want your seafood sushi style this place is AWESOME. Good taste, quick service, family owned. Not cheap really, and the rolls aren’t “big”…but worth every dollar

(As of April ‘22 you cannot dine in, not sure why or for how long, but online ordering is super easy.) This was, hands down, the BEST sushi I’ve ever had. I’m vegetarian so my sushi options are limited, and better vs best really does come down to the smaller details. Most fresh avocado, and the perfectly cooked and flavored sushi rice. I wish I had found this place at the beginning of my vacation, not the end!

Wow! That was fantastic! Our family of 4 (with an 18yr old daughter and 19yr old son) loves sushi and can easily devour what most would order for a family of 8. (Put it this way- we once had a server at a place in Richmond VA come back to confirm the amounts of our order because the sushi chefs noticed there were only 4 of us at the table…)!
So as usual, we crushed it all! But this was way better than our normal place in CO (which clearly we figured being VA natives knowing VA and especially OBX has better seafood than our adopted landlocked state).
But it really did surpass our assumptions. The salmon was fresh, buttery soft and flavorful. My daughter found a new fave in the snapper leaving me with all the eel which I happily took on. I don’t do rolls (only sushi and nigiri) but my fam and our son’s GF really liked them all! The tuna (ahi and yellowfin) amazing! They only do take out (right now at least) and it was all packaged perfectly and they made sure we had plenty of ginger, soy and their really good wasabi! Sometimes wasabi is just nothing more than burning… but their wasabi actually adds to the flavor. We did miss the flaky sea salt on the edamame but they weren’t bland at all. Quite tasty!
We may likely order again this week while we’re here! If you’re down for some really good sushi and don’t mind picking it up, I Highly recommend!

Sushi was average. Place is small but clean. Waitstaff is friendly but extremely slow. Food comes out quick, but like I said it’s average quality. Not many other sushi places if any to find in the area. They are expensive. They charged my 3 year old daughter $6 for a small plate of noodles. NC is suppose to be the most friendliest state. Well, they do not offer military discount, so they apparently didn’t get the memo.
If my review and pictures helped you then please give me a thumbs up

I went in last week for dinner, ( because its tucked in the side of OBX mall it can be overlooked) I had not ate here since having major heart surgery, wow! I was so pleasantly surprised at how good the food still was, with new heart valves, its important to watch how I eat, so the delicious healthy vegetable alternatives were great, but I will admit I did eat the spring rolls... and the hibachi rice.. yummy, and NOT overly greasy, and obviously the oil is fresh,**** told sushi was awesome as well.. I am glad for the treat from my daughter, I am hooked and cant wait to enjoy again soon.. I was sad I missed the lunch hours of operation for the prices seemed so good especially for those on a budget, but there's always tomorrow.. I definitely recommend stopping in lunch or a nice dinner, you won't regret it, 5 plus stars"" keep up the great dining experience, it's a welcomed reprieve from just a
" seafood" meal at the many restaurants. And by the way, "our server" that night, was awesome, she kept our drinks filled and checked on us thru out without doing so to many times.. so kudos to the staff, and more to our waitress..

The sushi, sashimi and rice were all amazing. We were able to try some new things like eel, uni, red snapper, mackerel and others that we really enjoyed! The tamago and the masago were also very delicious. The service was friendly and quick, always refilling our glasses and making sure we were satisfied. It is a small restaurant so there might be a wait on a busy night but all in all would recommend.

Great sushi. I had the Taiko roll and the Sunset roll. Both were good, but the Taiko roll was top notch. The decor is lacking, but it's nice for a strip mall restaurant. The portions of everything except for sushi were good sized. Every member big our party was satisfied. We will definitely be returning next year.
