Traveling through and stopped here for breakfast. Great service, strong coffee, very clean inside, plenty of seating, very reasonable prices, and good food! Loved the bar area, with the added step to rest your feet! I had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hash browns and everything was great! The pancakes could have been a little fluffier, though. Great menu selection, too. Keep it up!

From exterior appearance it may not be your usual stop and eat place. We debated for a second but with the reviews and full cars in the parking lot we decided it was worth us trying! SO GLAD we did!! It was home when you walked in. The staff were comfortable, the customers were daily locals and the food was amazing from the chili burger, spaghetti and chicken fried steak! It was a place you wish you had in your home town to add to your local weekly stops! With us being in town for tournament baseball tomorrow we are already discussing coming back tomorrow! It’s definitely an unexpected gem you’ll be thankful you tried!! Thank you for the true home cooking hospitality!!

I ordered the chicken and dumplings, black eyed peas, collard greens, avocado and corn salad with the Mandarin orange cake. Personally it was more like chicken noodle soup and the collard greens needed to simmer about 15-30 minutes longer. The avocado and corn salad had 1 tiny piece of avocado but it was good. Black eyed peas, cornbread and the cake were spot on! I'll be back but will order differently.
