Jimmyz Original Hibachi House

Great little fast food version of a hibachi restaurant. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and my fiancee ordered the hibachi steak. The portions were perfect! The food tasted great! Mo complaints whatsoever! I'd like one of these back home! Will definitely be back! And whoever thought of putting the yum yum sauce in a bottle... genius!!!

July 2022 and everything continues to shine. We arrived at our place in Myrtle Beach and were surprised to find our favorite local Jimmyz had closed. We did a quick search and also found the Surfside Beach location has also closed. We did see the place at the Coastal Mall was still open. A few days later we headed over and were pleased to see some of the folks who worked at the 62 Street Location were here. Well the food was as always FANTASTIC!! We ordered the Vegetable Shrimp and Chicken Bowls that came out just right and tasty. This location is clean and a joy to eat in. What we did find why the places closed. It seems the landlords were raising rental costs through the roof while not willing to do repairs or improvements plus a partner issue. They do plan to re-open in both areas so till then please frequent the main location. This place also has a new addition of Sushi Style Poke Bowls that will be our next try unfortunately they are no longer available.

As a local I go to places that meet a certain criteria. 1. Good customer service, 2 a big bang for your buck, and 3 tidiness. Jimmiez has all three. The staff is always friendly and the store is nice and clean. The new Poke bowl is probably the best addition to the menu. It's a build your own bowl with all fresh ingredients. The options are endless and it is one of the best thing I've ate in a very long time. I can't get over how awesome the Poke bowl is, it's a must try and you will not be disappointed either.
