We were in the mood for good Mexican food and boy did we find it! The food was very good and so was the service was excellent and attentive. We liked the fact on their menu you could order combination platters without beans and rice, my husband does not care for them and usually has to order a la cart and that can get pricey. We like to visit smaller hometown restaurants when we travel. Definitely a must for anyone who loves real Mexican food.
The Margaritas Mexican Restaurant is YUMMY. When you're at the beach there are a lot of fish places and kid places, but to find a great Mexican restaurant was a delightful surprise. They came right away with chips and salsa, and they brought both hot and mild sauce and I ordered guacamole and it was flavourful and we finished the bowl. I ordered the chimichanga dinner with rice and beans and one tamale and they were scrumptious my dad got the El pollo loco grilled chicken with queso served with rice and beans and he cleaned his plate. The service was great as well super friendly if you like Mexican food this is your Myrtle Beach spot!
Staff was friendly and food was great. Had the bean dip and Chicken Fajita Quesadilla. I would recommend and have again. The a/c went out while I was there was the only negative.
Food was good. Service needs to be worked on. It took 30 mins to get asked what we want to order, we were never brought drink refills, the food quantity and quality was good. They just need more dedicated staff, the waiters spent too much time walking around doing bus boy duties while customers sat and waited for service.

Solid, fairly priced, mexican place. The Margarita's Green Enchiladas were flavorful and good. Salsa was poor. Mild was bland. Hot was just spice.
GREAT restaurant! I've been looking for a great Mexican place, happened to be in MB & decided to give it a try. So glad I did! Great service, awesome atmosphere & AMAZING food! And the prices are great!! Definitely try to go for lunch, they have great lunch specials!

Amazing Mexican food in Myrtle Beach! Wonderful service and fun decor! The complimentary tortilla chips were great to munch on while we were going over the menu and waiting. The food came out steaming hot and portions were great. Did not have to wait very long for our food. And everything on the menu is very reasonably priced. Will definitely come back here when in Myrtle
Great place, delicious food, great staff. Language barrier with the server. Love the decor in there. Fantastic drink. Just an FYI to customers the Margaritas my mom and I got were $8.00 but when we got the bill they were now $15.00 and then an upcharge for using a credit card just fyi. 3.4 % up charge on the credit card. (It was very upsetting to my mom all the charges so go in with your eyes open. )
Genuine and savory Mexican food! Food is great and as served in Mexico, including the complimentary tortilla chips when you seat. Service is friendly and great. Honest prices, a gem if you compare to the innumerous tourists traps in the area. Portions are generous, serve well a hungry adult during lunch time but it is huge on dinner (prices are little up accordingly). A few cons would be an outdated building (somewhat not good looking) and the cleanliness inside.

Very large portions, super fast service. Go early as they fill up fast. My favorite are the fajitas and unlimited chips and salsa. Try the spicy salsa as it is hot but very flavorful. Not your average Mexican eatery as it is exceptional!
Happy Cinco De Mayo! This place is great! For today, they had drink specials outside, extra tables, and great service. They have two levels for dining, and we sat in the back bar area the last two times. We have had the same waiter and he is great! They told us it was a 40-minute wait because of the day, but we were sitting in around 20 minutes. The food came out quick and perfect as ordered. The portions are large and can be sharable. I highly recommend this place. For such a busy day, they the service was great, fast, and friendly! We will Definitely be returning here!
While on a business trip to Myrtle Beach, my colleagues and I wanted Mexican food. We went to Margaritas. The margaritas were refreshing as it was a hot day. We had plenty of chips and guacamole that were a big hit. For my dinner, I had the Carnitas. It was chunks of slow cooked pork with Mexican rice, refried beans, and avocado. It was so good. The food came out really fast, and we all loved eating at Margaritas.

Decided to try this place recently and it was delicious! We ordered the queso with chorizo, a little greasy but super tasty! I ordered the chimis (liked the chicken better than beef!), and my husband ordered a giant burrito. Food came out quick, and piping hot! Will be back soon!
