Pizza Hut

I have celiac disease and normally get safe gluten free pizzas here, but tonight I got home and immediately noticed how different the pizza looked. I tested it with a Nima device (tests for gluten) and it confirmed what I already knew. They even put a full on regular pizza in a gluten free box. This would have sent me to the hospital if I had eaten it. I could tell the difference since I get them often here, but if someone else couldn’t then it could be bad. This was the only place I trusted GF pizza from because of the precautions they take, at least up until now. It was different employees than normal but I’m not sure how they could have messed this up since they are supposedly supposed to make the Udi’s pizza in the box kit that it comes in according to their website. They just made a normal pizza and used the GF box. Really disappointed but thankful I didn’t eat it or I would have been extremely ill for the next month.

Service was not very good. They were out of several menu items and when we made a request, instead of it being explained why it wasn't possible, the girl had a very rude attitude. The pizza we ended up ordering was good. Could have used refills on our drinks, but our waiter never attended our table from the time he dropped off the pizza to the time he dropped off the check. Will go to a different location in the future.

So the delivery guy forgot the garlic bites and said he'd come back and I was ok with that. He was very polite and apologized. Honest mistake. When I called the manager because after I also found out my pizza was also the wrong one he tried to get me to accept store credit instead of getting my order correct and told me it would take a hour and a half. Never apologized or anything. Turns out the delivery guy was back within 20 minutes with my correct order. I am upset with the way I was treated by the manager as the customer. He sounded like he didn't want to deal with me. I clearly wanted the food or I wouldn't have ordered it! Get it together pizza hut! I usually don't complain but this took the cake.

Saturday night and only one person working?? We only saw one person and she was on the phone the whole time so we never even had our order taken. How long are you supposed to wait to place an order because a restaurant only has one person working on a Saturday night!?!! Too many other options. Ciao!!
