Bill's Pub is the best pizza ever. Went in the other day for a pizza and also some par baked ones, as we don't live in the area anymore, they were excellent. We also had the best service by Christine, our regular server, and she is wonderful at keeping drinks full and getting everything we need. Also, had the chance to speak with Eric Rouse, the guy in charge, and again he was excellent as well. Did everything in his power to make sure we were happy. Best experience ever! Will continue to make this our go to place when in the area. 5 stars all the way!
I had the gluten free pizza and it was great! The veggies are fresh, the crust has a great texture and flavor. Just YUM!

This past August was literally the first time dining in at this location since '99 believe it or not.
I guess because I'm a foodie and love to explore new places, maybe that's what took me so long to get back here and not to mention I've gotten my fill of BP pizza at the North location over the years which is much closer to my house in Beach Park.
This pizza is heavenly and truly one of the best I've ever had in my entire life. They say the big city is the place to be but regardless if you're in Chicago, NY or Detroit or even a frozen pizza brand; it really is what you like.
As far as taste, this venue alongside the Third Lake location and a popular parlor in Lake Forest are tied for the #1 spot in my book.
Besides pizza, Bill's also has a great all around menu as well as a good alcohol menu with overall still fair enough prices, friendly service in a clean & rustic log cabin vibe.
Guys, I love your pizza and I promise I won't wait several years to come back for more greatness. Always try my best to support local and I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).
When in the Chicago area - you have to get pizza!
I ordered delivery (through the Slice app) and Bill's definitely delivered! The very nice gentleman who brought my pizza made sure to warn me it was hot - and it was. As if straight from the oven.
It was baked to perfection. Cheese melty, crust perfect, veggies in the perfect ratio and distributed properly. (We all know how important that is for a perfect pizza!)
Will definitely get more when back in the area!
Came in expecting more "pizza with a pub" but it's five stars if you instead consider it more "pub with good pizza."
Have been meaning to check this place out for a while. Stopped in for lunch on a whim one sunny Tuesday afternoon. I was in a good mood prior, and in a great mood after.
Was greeted by Jake’s friendly service and attentive attitude. Great guy to have working the bar.
I ordered Bill’s Special and one of the locally-brewed beers they had on tap. Came out quick. Everything tasted good. Good stuff!
I can’t fight the urge to say though: as a Waukegan native, Double D’s at Jester’s has to keep the throne for my favorite double decker pizza (even if Bill's did invent it… and I haven’t even tried it here yet lol).

Grew up around the block, Bills is a staple in the community and it helps it has The BEST pizza around, plus a super amazing atmosphere. I worked takeout when I was 15, I Love this place. Need to make a trip asap. If you're near by looking for a great lunch/dinner stop in! Double Decker pizza is the best on the planet. Just go.
Old fashioned pizza pub. Rustic atmosphere. Good selection of peer and rotating cocktails. Full menu but we had pizza. Great thin crust and toppings. Highly recommend.

One of the few places to offer this style, and cook it so it still has a crispy crust. Sides are great. I was a little disappointed in the portion size of the fried mushrooms. But all in all, this location is timeless with the decor, the overall vibe, and the great food.
We love finding little off the wall pizza shops and restaurants while we travel. My aunt from Indiana told us to go there the pizza was terrific. The atmosphere is out of an old rustic lodge and very very friendly. The pizza was out of this world.
Bill's pub is a mainstay in the mundelein Libertyville Vernon hills area. The food is incredible The atmosphere is unique and the service I always great. Get there early though there's always a fairly good wait. If you've never had authentic Chicago deep dish or stuffed pizza this is the place to go.
Loved their outdoor setup!! Large open space with the lake in view and pretty lights, I didn't even see the inside. Waitress was sweet, but maybe she was overbooked as it seemed we were forgotten. We got Bills special and meat lover's pizza. Both were tasty, and I would get them again, but I was not blown away. We got the cheddar fries. These were basic and the portion small. They only give you a small cup of cheese, maybe ask for extra cheese. Overall, it was a nice experience 😌
Had this place recommended by three separate people when we moved nearby so had to try it out. Thin crust is good, 7.4, double decker is where the magic is at tho. Overall good quality ingredients and obviously a lot of skill from years of practice means pizza so good even when I got a couple burned pizzas no one complained.
