Captain D's

Captain D's country style fish is still the best anywhere. Hope this one never leaves. Big improvement from last visit. Although new person being trained got type of fish wrong, young manager named Ben was very swift to correct the issue and apologized. Stop in once a month. Only tip is I wish they would paint or replace ceiling tiles to improve atmosphere. It detracts from their other spruce ups.

We get a meal there once a week. It's a good value, fresh, and filling. Everything is good. Regular coupons come in a mail flyer. Drive thru is not a quick stop. Window service is efficient and friendly. Lots of good sauces to request. You can also request fresh lemon slices to squeeze on your fish. The grilled and battered fish are equally good, in my opinion. Battered comes with a thicker coating, or a "country" kind with dusted corn meal. Sides are all good, too.
