What a perfect place to celebrate my 64th birthday. Sitting on the porch enjoying the view and perfect weather. I had the Manila clams in the traditional garlic wine nectar along with the sourdough rolls to sop all the deliciousness. For my entree I had a shrimp/crab combination Louie salad. Everything was prepared and presented to perfection, like a fine orchestrated production. I have never been disappointed when I have visited this high quality dining establishment. Bravo, my hat is off to you and a special thank you to my server Sammy.
My family is from the state of Washington, I love fresh seafood. Living in New Mexico we do get fresh seafood in but it’s just not the same! Ivar’s was amazing. The staff was friendly helpful and kind! Food was spectacular. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. Weather you are local or out of town, Ivar’s is a must do.

I am a non seafood eater and this place has amazing food and service. The steak with the gorganzola butter and fingerling potatoes is terrific. The Hills are alive wine flight with local WA wines delicious. To top it off Chocolate Decadence for dessert....fantastic. Sat at the bar had Eddie and Sol wait on me they are the best.
I've always enjoyed this restaurant. The salmon dishes are delicious; food of high quality. I found the hostesses very good as well as the service. The ambiance is lovely. I always had a good meal and pleasant experience here.

Date night with husband at Ivars. Fun, yummy, relaxing. We ate in the bar area. When full we could still carry a conversation and actually hear each other. Great service and the halibut was super fresh. Great crab cakes, good wine list and decadent desserts. Will be returning again.
Delicious lunch but pricey. Ask for a table near the window. Had salmon which was really fresh and cooked perfectly. The chowder is one of the best & the crab bisque is delicious. Others in my group had the cod sandwich, halibut filets & crab cakes, all of which was very good. Service was great.
Outstanding. I took customer's here and we had a great time. The food was fresh and perfectly prepared and the service was really good too. It was a little overpriced, but I will definitely be back.
What a treasure! The atmosphere is very relaxing with a beautiful view of the water. I enjoyed White King Salmon, the chefs special.
Great Location, Very good food. Right off the water, with the Olympic mountains seen in the distance, this is definitely one of the more aesthetically pleasing views to eat your meal particularly in this are north of Seattle.. Great food and very fresh specials keep ivars among the best restaurants out there.. Typically restaurants attempt to cover the taste of their salmon with sauces and such when the fish isn't superfresh but with Ivars, you get super fresh fish and well crafted sauces that compliment and don't get in the way of your enjoying your experience.
Beautiful veiw, yummy food. Watched the ferries coming in and out. Had the Lobster mac and cheese... others thought is was a bit rich but i loved every bite!
Keeping clam .... We come here nearly every time I return home to Whidbey Island - I actually sometimes pray for a wait at the ferry just so we can get some clam chowder, fried oysters and fish n chips ... it's one of my very favorite things about visiting home. Not crazy about the fries, but the red clam chowder and oysters are the best, fried clams a little chewy but definitely a place to stop when you're heading to the Island!
