Oliver’s Bistro

Fantastic homemade, fresh food. Absolutely everything on their menu!! Everyone was looking at everyone else's food and saying, ooo that looks good. I truly wish Heber Springs had a restaurant like this. Local products used, grass fed beef, honey, etc. It was wonderful. Pizza is like none other. Brick oven made. Delicious! This is cheesy cauliflower soup! It was so good, homemade, nothing like the kind you get anywhere else. This had lots of cauliflower and carrots with a little cheese. We can't wait to go back!! Excellent staff, fast service, full house!!

The food was excellent. However, it seems as if the owner or supervisor (not sure what she was) needs a course on Customer Service etiquette. She was huffing and puffing and came across as put out when we didn't leave as quickly as she wanted us to leave the bistro. We were a large group of 15 broken up into two tables, so it took a while for all our food to come to our tables. If you are on a schedule, do not go expecting to be in and out quickly. Again the food was excellent, customer service skills for employees needs some improvement.

Is it possible to give a place six stars, an extra one for fabulous service? I went here with a friend one day about a month ago while staying in a cabin half an hour outside of town. The next day we decided to go back again for lunch after receiving one of the best meals either of us had eaten in a long time. I got the Petit Chateau the first day, and the Basil Chicken sandwich with tomato soup the next day and I finished every crumb at both meals. Lori was our server both days, and she could not have been more delightful. She even made a point to get our order (for 2 people) in before the table that was sat after us which had 8 people. The effort was greatly appreciated. Fair warning: they don't like to alter their food combinations, which typically annoys me because I'm very particular. But seriously this food is so good and the service was so great that I don't hesitate to give full marks in my review!

We love going to Oliver's; the entree, sandwich, and salad choices are beautifully presented, delicious and imaginative! The service is always exceptional, and it is possibly the best restaurant in Stone County. Far better than the same boring choices everywhere else, we find it delightful! They also offer gluten-free options, which my wife enjoys, without needing to compromise flavor, which is quite nice. We highly recommend the great little gem!
