This place is by far the best pub I have been to. I used to come here very often than moved to Concord, NH and let me tell you I will drive 1,131 miles just to go to Magical Meat Boutique. Wonderful staff and great Brittish food and drinks. ( make the drive it is worth it)!
A local recommended it for the best burger in town. My cousin had the burger and loved it. I opted for the lamb!!! It was perfect and on top of a scrumptious pile of mashed potatoes. Tyler gave us excellent service and an education on Irish and English mustard. I would recommend this spot to any meat lover!!
We loved how it made us feel back in England again. The food is spot on and delicious. I was grateful they made a vegetarian Bangers and Mash for my husband that was amazing, as I loved the Shepherd Pie!!
The service was great. The portions were more than generous. I ordered the fish and chips and not only did my husband eat some of mine, but I still had a whole meal to take home. He ordered the shepard's pie and raved that it was like no other. Don't forget the beer cheese and pretzels. The drinks were on point and the atmosphere was perfect for date night. We definitely recommend and will be back.
Plenty of seating option. Fun environment. Very nice and attentive waitress. Had to try the as advertised fish and chips (cod) and absolutely loved!

TWO WEEKS LATER and I am still raving about the incredibly underrated GEM that is THE Magical Meat Boutique in Mount Dora, FL. As one of the few (if not only) restaurants open past 9pm on Sunday, safe to say I wasn’t thrilled with our limited dining options. Although, after skimming some online reviews, my demeanor began to shift.
Deciding what to order from a menu filled with traditional English pub grub wasn’t easy, but we relied on the feedback of the staff and a few others to make final food decisions, (reviews from Google and Yelp specifically).
sidebar — i have never liked shepard’s pie. while I do love each ingredient in the dish, it is not something i would even consider ordering for dinner. never have i ever ordered shepard’s pie, simply because i thought i never really liked it?!
THE SHEPARD’S PIE was EASILY THE MOST DELICIOUS THING I HAVE EATEN IN YEARS — jam-packed layers of flavor, every bite being better than the last.
Their staff is professional, hospitable and knowledgeable. The owner and staff have built something truly ‘magical’ in Mount Dora. They successfully exceeded expectations and this place is undoubtedly worth another visit.
Do yourself a favor and order the Shepard’s Pie, TRUST ME, you won’t be disappointed! 😉
Excellent food!! So tasty. Steak and ale pie, and shepherd's pie were amazing!
Everything we ordered was very heavily battered and deep-fried. It was all good and crunchy, but wow. We got our year supply of oil. 🤪 Our waitress, Cheyenne, was super friendly, very sweet, and was on top of our needs without hovering. Oh, and the sweet kitten who meandered through was adorable.
Cold beer and delicious food. Our family has been coming here for years since the opening at the old location. Love everything Ive tried so far, especially the fresh fish and chips! The owners are absolutely lovely people as well.
Service was prompt but curt...like she was miffed she had to serve us. Still gave her a great tip since she still did a great job.
The bloody Mary was mild so I would ask for it to be spicy.
The Full Monty Breakfast hit the spot and was nicely done.
The only complaint was the black pudding was over cooked and rock hard.
The outdoor seating was comfortable. The bathrooms may be difficult for anyone with a handicap to go to as they are rather long and narrow.
Enjoyed a late lunch Fish was delicious and generous portion. Lamb shank was good but was a little dried out. Kate the owner was super friendly and made us feel at home on the outdoor patio. Will return.
The bartender Michael did a great job offering suggestions on their food. The lamb shank was very good along with their special grilled cheese and tomato soup!
