Hammer Down Bar

We go there a lot. The place is always busy with usally 2 girls working. Always great service except for tonight. A guy bartender and not sure who cooking. Other people eating there had to go up to the guy and keep asking for things and we sat for 20mins. Or more and still no service, and we know that he knew we were there because he made eye contact with us several times. No excuse for this Not sure if we will go back again.

I love this place!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I went here as a kid for cheese curds and have come back many times since then. Family friendly during reasonable times and the best friendly service you could ask for. North woods atmosphere and yet modern, clean, affordable and comfortable any time of day. Make a friend or just stop by for the best food to go! Wisconsin cheese curds, big yummy burgers cooked to perfection. I will always come back here when I’m in the area. Thank you Hammer Down for being a local place of comfort and happy times. We've eaten here and had a couple beers several times now and depending on who makes the burgers they can be super yummy. The other day when we went it wasn't the usual girl and the burgers were all over done so we were disappointed. Usually they are so good though. I'd recommend this place. Service is friendly.
