Olde Brook Inn

Undoubtedly one of the best place in Scranton to dine in. The selection of menu items are great, you will get lots of option in each section. Do try their Grilled lollipop lamb chop from the starter section, it tastes really good. The ambience is very cozy and I like their black themed interior. If it is your special day and you decide to celebrate here, please make reservations well in advance as this place gets pretty full each day. Awesome place with delicious foods and beverages.

Wow this place is awesome, so glad we booked a table in advance as it was packed! Atmosphere was great and the food even better, this is high end dining, you can tell the ingredients are fresh and high quality. We had the Ahi Tuna and Scallop starters then the Pork chop and Filet Mignon for entree. Everything was delicious, we will be back!

Everything was great except the "crab and old bay" fries which had a cream sauce on them, but neither old bay seasoning or ANY crab. $11 for fries with a creamy, salty, parmesan sauce? Big faux pas! Change the name! Clams were great, special drink if the day great, tomato & red pepper soup, outstanding, ambiance of the patio bar, absolutely lovely.

The food was delicious, especially the lamb lollipops. The drinks were well made, and the prices were reasonable. The service started out very good, but we had to wait way too long for our check, over twenty minutes just sitting there, ready to go home, while our server was helping others but not making their way over to us. Still, it was overall a great experience and we will be going back. We'll just bring enough cash so we can just leave the money on the table and head out if we find ourselves feeling ignored.

I really wanted to love it, but for the price, it just wasn't worth it. Waitstaff were great. No long wait times. Place is clean and beautiful. We were outside and the heater went out twice because the propane tank ran out. They never changed the tank to turn it back on. We asked. Pizza was decent., crust was really good. The clams in white wine and garlic appetizer were delicious. We also had burgers, fries, and seafood...everything was unremarkable. Without going into specifics, the food wasn't what I expected based on price and descriptions on the menu.

Tried to make a reservation and the guy was extremely sarcastic which I didn't appreciate. I've always loved it there and was eager to see it now that it was all renovated but his attitude really rubbed me the wrong way. I will never go there! Their food may be good but they need to remember that how people are treated is just as important!
