Food isn’t as hot as it could be. Small portions. Quick service. Plenty of parking. Kind staff. Overall my party got the catfish, breakfast, meatloaf, and even some French toast. Biscuits are a go to! Cornbread no so much. Make sure you ask for jam. The preserves are great. Tried all the sides. Mac & Cheese & hash brown casserole were my fav. Coleslaw was crisp. (Don’t go before closing, food isn’t as fresh) Shout out to Amanda! Waited on our table perfectly! Overall a great experience. Only downfall was the temperature of the food and a tiny sliver of meatloaf. Highly recommend for breakfast. Get the fried apples and peach topping for your French toast!

I love Cracker Barrel, but was disappointed in the experience I had at this one..the taste of everything but the plain (no Chicken) dumplings, the biscuits and salad were the only edible things eaten...it looked so good brought out, but my carrots were cold, not glazed and hard, barely cooked..the turnips were to full of old " hard to chew ham"? ( It looked like ground up old barbecue meat) The greens were hot but stringy and hard to eat.. my daughter had the Chicken pot pie, the crust was overcooked, but could had been fine with that if the filling was good, it was Chicken pot pie,but tasted like a old beef not chicken,, but beef gravy the kind like what you by in packages and mix, there was very few vegetables, or Chicken, it tasted pretty bad, and sadly it wasn't ate after a couple bites.. the 1 glass of tea I was given.. was good.. the server was nice ,though rushed, attention obviously elsewhere but after meal arrived by a different server I did ask her to relay the carrot issue and asked a substitute of Mac & cheese for the carrots.. it came out 10 minutes later, and again, it tasted not quite right, like it was not made with cheese, a store Mac& Cheese taste better....was disappointed after not dining in since Covid began. I had been to a hospital for testing all afternoon. And really looked forward to dining since living on the Outer Banks we have no CrackerBarrel... it wasn't to busy when we arrived, but food still took a while to get out, and biscuits came only after I reminded a server after food had arrived ..to please bring, and request for jelly's, butter fell on deaf ears.. the tea wasn't refilled at all, and at least 4 items we tried to order were out, or the machine was broken?? Disappointing to say the least.. I must say the gift shop was our highlight, but be careful if using the restroom, it was a sticky walk from the shop area and in the bathroom worse, dirty, sticky floor, and no soap came out when I went to wash my hands.. but worse there wasn't toilet paper and I was going stall to stall as 2 women, obvious employees looked on at me, and chatted/ gossiped.. in front of me.. complaining about a tip one employee didn't want to share.. like I needed to hear angry complaints, when instead I should had been asked "if they could assist me to find toilet paper? "... I had also noticed car lights left on in a van parked next to me earlier, I told at least 4 employees before one went and checked it out.. I wasted a lot of money for? And I would preferred to make my own meal, or go elsewhere before I return to this particular Cracker Barrel.. * for I have ate at plenty of good ones..this one obviously needed some guidance, perhaps a more hands on manager on staff to keep order, and employees in check.. I wish you the best, but I will not be back to this one anytime soon..

I love the Cracker Barrel store. My family and I went in to eat. Their biscuits are amazing. I enjoyed the cinnamon roll pie. That was very tasty. However, I asked for eggs scrambled soft oh, they came out like hard patties for both my daughter and I. We ordered a steak as well. We ordered the steak medium rare and it came out dry as hell. Instead of calling that the fried Grandpa breakfast, they should have called that Grandpa fried cardboard box. The server also was not that informative. She gave wrong information. But that's okay maybe she was new. We ordered the grilled catfish. I really enjoyed that. It had a nice flavor. I ordered the plum Mimosa. It tasted like juice or soda. It's not worth getting. Also we ordered the sausage and it never came out. It was not a good experience, but we made the best of it.

I was so excited to go here. Every experience I’ve had at every Cracker Barrel has been great until today. We were seated fairly quickly but the rest was downhill from there. We were waited for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. I had to wave a waitress down to order drinks 20 minutes after sitting down. She said our server left. We got our food about 20 minutes later and it was cold. I didn’t say anything about the food because I was not going to wait another 20 minutes for them to remake it. Definitely not going to this location again.

Extremely busy for a Friday after 1. It felt like Saturday with all the hustle and bustle. Cute little shop.
We got seated after a short five minute wait. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and she forgot several items. Received our food quickly. First time ordering lunch items; large portions of chicken , fried okra and mashed potatoes were tasty.

Amazing place to eat out in RD area
I’ve had bunch of items ordered but forgot to take pic of all so enjoy one which I posted.
Must try fried chicken. They have perfected the fried chicken cooking and it was delicious. I liked the fried okra in sides which was rare to get in Raleigh area.
The service and the dine in experience was very good both the time I visited.

Understaffed today. Also the toaster is broken. I'm sure it's an industrial thing, but there's no backup? There's a Walmart just down the road 🙂. Still, grilling the toast worked out well. I call this chain "The McDonald's of Country Breakfasts" since it's always dependable and predictable.

We walked in and it was hotter than Satan's taint in the dining area! It was 55* outside and 120* inside. We were seated within 20 minutes and a waitress who wasn't ours came by to ask if we had been helped yet. We told her it was our first time and ask for recommendations. She spent a few minutes with us going over the menu and taking our drink order then she said our waitress should be over soon to get our dinner order and bring us biscuits. Our waitress came over and never introduced herself to us. She literally never gave us her name. We told her it was our first time there and she just said "okay". She took our dinner order and left. Our drinks sat empty until we flagged her down for refills and asked her if we needed to order the biscuits and cornbread the other waitress told us we'd be getting with our drinks. She brought biscuits one minute before our dinner came out. Our dinner. We got the tiniest piece of roast beef we've ever seen. It was like it was plated for a small child, yet it was served to a grown man. It was cooked perfectly and falling apart, but cold just like the gravy. The chicken fried chicken was also cooked to perfection, but the gravy on top was cold. We are so disappointed. We had heard mixed reviews about Cracker Barrel and this location put us on the negative review side. This was our first and last trip to Cracker Barrel!
