Having the privilege to know and love Ellenkarla Thomas is a Godsend. Having the top-notch privilege of being shown the VIP treatment from the owner/manager, theie families, wait staff, bartenders and guests at Ming II was an Honor! The complimentary cocktails were ooh soo refreshing! The meal, shrimp and veggies and chicken and broccoli with complimentary rice was ooh soo delish, topped off with two complimentary glasses of wine! We WILL return....service 100%, ambiance 100% conversations100%, friendships made...priceless!!!!
Ming II is one place you will want to bring your important guest for lunch or dinner. With low lighting and fantastic contemporary music you couldn't go wrong when ordering A fine bottle of wine from its cellar as well as experiencing a menu of food that will sure to please. The room it self is design to create a relax atmosphere along with none invading service.
I reserve this for some major family activity. Food has always been great. Kids love it. Also, the best part is, as it is Indo chinese, we get the best of both worlds. Regular dishes are paneer chili masla, baby corn, corriender soup, mango, mint mohito, and veg biryani. There is plenty of place to park. Get the tickets validated.
The food was excellent!
We the tilapia and it comes as large pieces and has a crispy exterior. I thought it tasted great. We also ordered the Hoang Kong chicken and I preferred that to the tilapia.
It looks like these dishes do not come with rice so you will have to order and a large order of rice is $5+
The service was not the best because the kitchen was closing at around 230pm. I wish we were told when we were sat down when the kitchen was closing. It looked like things got very busy and we had several servers all trying to be of help. Two different people came to take our order and several people came to hand our dishes and there was a mix up. There was also a mix up with our cheque and I can tell most of this stemmed from perhaps the kitchen closing
Or main server Walter was great, very knowledgeable about the cuisine and was attentive.
Everything was cooked to perfection! Service was great, nice atmosphere, and the price was right. $$
We ordered and ate, lobster, shrimp, lotus root, crispy duck, noodles, and ribs, everything was great!
Location is in the Hyatt, parking easy, full but not crowded.
I went for a family function. The place was good, but i felt it was dark and needed some light for good pics. The service was great, and the food was awesome. Definitely a good place for a get to gether for 25 to 30 people.
Amazing food, Yang Zhou was the best fried rice I’ve ever had! Super awesome service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Sam was the man! I would give 6 stars if I could.
Wanted to try this for a long time and finally did it. The food was amazing. Got drums of heaven and chilli garlic fried rice and both were super delicious. Chicken was just perfect indo-Chinese style with perfect sauces. Definitely would try more options from here soon.
I absolutely love this Asian fusion restaurant. Prices of food is fair and portions are generous! Such a cool atmosphere
“quite good Chinese food (more of Indian version) and amazing ambience”
heard about a lot that they serve more of Indian Chinese food... was there last week and we had nice experience out there... first thing first. it was nice ambience and a server was courteous too...we ordered drumstick, ginger chicken ming fried rice and some noodles... all were great in taste... mock tails was good too...

If we have to choose a fav restaurant in Morristown ( Parsippany-Boonton-Lake Hiawatha), we can easily choose this one. We were here on New year's eve, and except appetizer our experience was fabulous.
We reserved our table well in advance. It was packed as expected but still, there was no lack in any service. We ordered our favorite Drums heaven, Lamb Schezwan, and chicken Hakka noodles.
Drums Heaven- it used to be good but seems in rush, they just sorted in some Manchurian gravy. Not good
Lamb schewzwan – It was sizzler with shredded lamb and sorted veggies. It was absolutely amazing. Noodles were okay though.
Management has the same kitchen for all three establishments – Ming II, SM23, and Mehandi. So if you want Mehandi's dishes in Ming II, you can order the same.
It was quite a good evening, enjoyed thoroughly and later on went to SM23 for a couple of drinks.

This is one of the fav restaurants for Indo-Chinese. We were here last night celebrating some life events. Weekday so we got the table easily. Settled ourselves and ordered-
Drums of heaven – People like us, missing Indian chicken lollypop, this is the closest you can get.
Chili Garlic Noodles
Chili Garlic Rice
Hakka Noodles
All three items in chicken. Well prepared (but a bit oily) that’s fine though. The portion is more than sufficient for one person. Service- ambience, it’s all top-notch. They increased their price, but I guess that’s the case with everyone.
Note: Parking ticket- Don’t forget to validate from reception. Parking is free.
Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food is very flavorful and portions are good, but I personally thought they overdid it with the sauce on some of the appetizers and meats. But overall the food is great and I'll definitely come back here again.
We came here for dinner and had a good time overall. Ambience was nice and I was not expecting it being the exterior and section of the hotel its in. The service was friendly and food was good too.
