Absolutely delicious! I had the Tuna Steak Sandwich and Hush Puppies. My friend ordered shrimp and they looked really tasty. The staff was nice, can't wait to return. You won't be disappointed coming here. A little pricey but definitely worth it.

My family and I have lived in Morgantown for years but only just visited recently. My son really wanted fried fish (and chips) and Flying Fish is the place that comes to mind. It certainly lived up to expectations. The meals were freshly prepared and the staff was very friendly. I got a fried oyster po' boy, and my wife got shrimp tacos. Everything was delicious. It wasn't busy for dinner when we went in - I get the impression that Flying Fish is a more popular lunch destination. I'm not complaining of course. We will definitely be back the next time we want a taste of the coast but only have time to drive across town.

I have NEVER been disappointed when having lunch or dinner at The Flying Fish in Morgantown. Today’s special was Blackened Fish or Shrimp Quesadillas with veggies and smoked Gouda. It was SMOKED-GOODAH!!
The Service is always top notch and each team member behind the counter & in the kitchen takes time to say hello to the guest.

Best seafood in WV
Had a mako shark steak w/ rice and it was AMAZING! First time, I have never tasted anything quite like that.
Also, tried the swordfish and it was also incredibly tasty! Love this place. Great food and friendly staff.

Seriously love this place. Traveling for a living it is extremely difficult to eat healthy!!! We ordered the grouper and slaw...plus some fresh shrimp!!! Yummo! The food and service are outstanding! We were in and out quickly and left satisfied! Tho fresh fish brought inland is a bit pricey...this "fresh catch" is totally worth it!!! Thank you and we will see you again!

Oh my goodness..what a place to fill your heart with and taste buds of a spice of New Orleans. I had the best shrimp taco and gumbo that that put in a NOLA state of mind. Yum yum..if you haven't tried their food , by golly, you need to get there soon.

My wife and I have always loved this place & enjoy their fish or shrimp tacos on a fairly frequent basis. However, recently, they changed their fries from fresh-cut to shoe-string-like. They are still decent, but not as good or fresh, and they are still listed as the former. Our last order of the shrimp taco proved less than the exceptional standards we have come to expect. They switched from the plump, sweet, tasty larger shrimp to a "popcorn" sized shrimp, which were not nearly as tasty & perhaps not as plentiful in terms of overall volume/weight of shrimp in the taco, but the underwhelming flavor might have deceived us there? We will remain loyal, fir the time being, in hopes that consistency returns to this previously exceptional eatery.

Amazing quality fish here for an inland shop. They travel to the coast weekly for incredible sushi grade fish. Not only that, the cooks are excellent. Everything I've had here has been fantastic. Very casual, lunch or bistro style dining. Check out the 4- 6pm oyster happy hour every day!
