Visited Zydecos this evening with my fiancée, it’s been a couple years since I have been and the first time for my fiancée. I’m going to start out by saying I’m disappointed that I can not give more than 5 stars! We started out with the Gator on a stick appetizer and it was absolutely delicious, and cooked to perfection. As an entree my fiancée and I split the Jolie Blond pasta. The sauce in the pasta was very creamy and had a delicious flavor, the crawfish in this also had a good flavor and were well prepared, but my favorite part of the dish was the Tosso! After we finished our entree we followed up with the “Death by Chocolate cake” it was very moist and very tasty. The service was absolutely wonderful as well and I highly recommend everyone to check this place out if you haven’t already! We will for sure be returning!
Well, another great Mardi Gras celebration at Zydeco's for 2018. Great people, great food all the time, and very fun at this time of yr! There were people in beautiful costumes that did a little 2nd line that was fun with the live music including a scrub board whistles & a kazoo leadin' the way!
--it was killing me that my green pepper allergy kept me from trying so many things, but that's my bad. I made my/meal of a nice side salad and their oysters & frog legs were fantastic. I wasn't suffering any and a friend had to copy with the frog legs. Yes, I said frog legs and they're so good next time it's a plate full for me! My long island wasn't too shabby either. Those at our table loved all the gumbo etc.
***We had a meet up with old friends that we've not seen in 40yrs. It was fantastic. -next year we'll all be in costume! Thanks to the owners for such a cool place and great time!
If you missed it, there's still tickets available for Fat Tuesday!
My husband and I love this place. The atmosphere is great, the decorations are authentic, the staff is friendly and they all have a sense of humor, as my husband is always razzing them. But oh my goodness, the death by chocolate cake… we can’t wait to get it home and pour a big ole glass of ice cold milk! Tonight was even better as we went with some friends. What’s better than laughter and good food with friends!
Zydeco's was great! I'm really glad we had a chance to get over there. I tried as much as I could until I felt like I was gonna pop. I hope to check out more of the menu in a few months. Laissez les bons temps rouler! #FoodiesOfNashville #TravelEats

A work Mardi Gras party at Zydeco’s and it was absolutely amazing and delicious. Not too spicy and full of flavor. Get a Hurricane as your Adult Beverage. Highly Recommend!
Nice Cajun resturant in mooresville. Flavors were right and good but comparing it to a recent trip to New Orleans it was missing some of the marks. Definitely try Zydecos because it is a Cajun experience in indiana none the less. Make sure you also get dessert there. The death by chocolate and the burbon pecan pie were definitely good.
Very good, I had the frog legs, gator on a stick, half and half and potato salad. Very tasty comfort food. They even gave me a third of a Baggett with butter. Can never go wrong with bread with me. They also gave me a beads, very festive! They're very nice and friendly. I was visiting from Atlanta so I'll definitely remember this place when I maybe someday come back to Indianapolis.
So many good things to say about this place. It's a gem in downtown Mooresville. The menu and portion sizes were perfect. The adult drinks were spot on.
It was excellent. Service was excellent and the shrimp and crawfish etouffee that I had was delicious. I'm definitely going back soon.
I love the originality of this place. The food is different and custom. Their adult beverages are one of a kind and made special. You truly feel like you are really in New Orleans based on the atmosphere. However, I only gave 4 stars because I feel like their customer service is less than welcoming (on average, based on all the times I have been there, not just once). Overall, I will go back and I recommend the restaurant, I just don't expect that "feel good", "Cheers" kind of environment one would expect from a small town favorite.
