Super good food, good portions. I did miss the experience of the bread and oil and the atmosphere of Plainfield location. It was our first time at Mooresville but we will be back because the food was so fresh, fast, and good. Definitely worth missing the bread and oil once in awhile

In years past, Sal's had more of a fine dining atmosphere with table service & now it's a casual order at counter & get your own drinks kinda place. I was disappointed that the menu seemed limited compared to other locations as I had my heart set on mushroom ravioli. I decided on the nightly special of cheese ravioli & subbed in alfredo instead of the marinara & so glad I did because that sauce was amazing. Pizza was ok. Couple little annoyances were the salads we had to remind the staff we ordered are filled to the rim in tiny bowls, so no way you can mix in dressing & drink fountain not only missing some choices, but badly in need of repair. Water sprays everywhere when trying to get a drink. That being said, the diet coke was yummy once I figured out how to maneuver around the issue. Bathroom seems to need new doorknob, so just feels like the place is run down a bit. Still worth 4 stars though as the food & drinks are good & the place was filled with friendly employees that were working their tails off!
Very good meal. Genuine people and flavors that are not easy to find here in the States. A delightful reminder to my taste buds of what MARVELOUS meals are. Honestly, Top Marks to Sal's.

Good food, go there for carry-out probably 4-5 times a month.
Joe, the main guy (co-owner?) usually there. But when not there, service not the greatest. Young girls that don't seem to care whether you get what you want or not. And yes, they love to sit on the counter, even while my pizza was warming up. Just not a lot of enthusiasm and energy.
I still give a 5 because the food is very good and if Joe was there service would be better. They're just lazier when he's not.
I know help, especially good help is virtually impossible to get so I understand.
The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu very helpful in my decisions definitely recommend
Awesome food and service. The sphaghetti and meatballs were fantastic and enough for two people or lunch the next day.
