Everyone enjoyed our men’s gathering at the CCC. Food was great, and the staff was wonderful. The sourdough toast, potatoes, bacon and eggs were perfect. I’m not a coffee drinker, but the rest of the crowd enjoyed theirs. The freshly squeezed orange juice was great(they have a juicing machine on site), but you should ask the cost as that was an unpleasant surprise. The decor is as would be expected and includes a very wholesome theme. We will certainly be returning.

Nice mountain town Cafe. A fair amount of seating inside along with friendly service and good food. There's a spacious waiting room area with two clean restrooms.

The biscuits and gravy were the best bite of the morning! The ham and Egg scramble (omelette) was good but needed more cheese. Good local spot for food.

Quaint, homey cafe with super friendly staff. My wife had the biscuits and gravy and I had the Manly Marine breakfast (which was so much food My we could have shared!). Everything was delicious. It reminded me of the home-cooked breakfast my grandma used to make for the family on weekends when I was growing up. I loved that they have fresh squeezed OJ, too! Great value as well.

This is a small town breakfast/lunch cafe. It's been a staple of Monument, Colorado for decades, changing names with new owners as the old ones retire. The food is solid working people's meals, nothing fancy, meant to power folks through cold days, which are common at 7200'. The service is top notch for a place that's always swamped in the mornings. The wait and cooking staff work really hard, and we tip accordingly. Also popular with the retired community (mostly military) in nearby Woodmoor subdivision. The atmosphere is simple, not terribly comfortable wooden chairs, the bar stools are padded but also not comfortable. The booths are more comfortable. I've eaten here many times over the last 30 years. Their menu is good, they do cater to both the carnivores and the few vegetarians in the area. I don't think they serve alcohol, but their coffee is pretty good.

What a great place! Staff: We were greeted warmly after waking in. There was a short wait for a table, but there is a nice lounge area to wait in. Atmosphere: This is a warm little cafe and you'll want to look around at the decore. Food: The food was excellent! It was made to order and served piping hot. Everything tastes wonderful. I order a skillet and it was served to me in a cast iron skillet! We would recommend this place to anyone and will come back if we're in Monument in the future.

Friendly though the space is cave-like with all the blinds closed and the awful, cold, bright light of full-spectrum bulbs. I get it, you want to keep the heat out but it doesn’t evoke a comfortable feeling. This and the decor could be freshened up to make it more warm and inviting. The banquet benches do not have a cushion, they are wood, so don’t plan on staying too long. I think I like this better than upholstered banquets where the springs have collapsed and you sit too low but it was miserable for my friend that has back issues. I was impressed by the choice of gluten free breads and the country potatoes at breakfast. I was also impressed they offer fresh-squeezed orange juice. It would be great if they offered it in a smaller size that wouldn’t give you diabetes. I will be back, I hope you can tell my sense of humor in this. Some things were off-putting but it’s also just a diner, I don’t expect fanfare. Another tidbit, in was soo excited to see a newspaper to read. This is one of my favorite dinner traditions where they would have a copy each of various papers and the patrons would share them. I took mine to my table only to find out it was 6 weeks old.

Classic small town diner. Great food and portion sizes. Prices are super reasonable. The breakfast burger is my favorite. Always cooked perfect. Don’t come in past 1pm or they might be a bit grumpy with you. You do frequently have to remind the staff about coffee refills. They will forget. Other than that 10/10
