Cook's Tortas

Cooks is amazing! They bake their own breads and pastries, ingredients are super fresh. I love the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant. Staff was super friendly. Big selection and lots to choose from. Everything was very flavorful , prepared well and was picturesque. It gets busy durring lunch rush but then line moves quickly. Lots of restaurant seating and a small patio as well.

A rare 5 star experience! I'm Changing my focus off of price and value during covid so I'll just say expect to pay around $15 for a sandwich. But oh what a sandwich it is. I had the pulled pork torta and I'm usually a little leary of some of the fusion dishes out there but this was an awesome sandwich. I had the pineapple, orange, coconut side dish which was excellent as well. I could have easily v mowed 5 of them... Eat here soon.

Torta location was recommended by my husband's coworker so I checked on Yelp and they also had good reviews. The torta/sandwiches are delicious. I ordered the grilled veggie #00 and my husband order the Asada #5. The tortas were heavy which is always a good sign and packed with fresh ingredients. We also ordered an agua fresca (Chia Lemonade). We will be returning...

Always delicious. Pricey, but delicious. I used to come here back in the early days. The quality is consistent. I am a fan of the ranchito. Something about that combination of meats and cheese makes me melt. I writhe in ecstasy, although I have never taken actual ecstasy so maybe this is not an accurate physical assessment. Prices have risen over the years which is understandable given it is "gourmet". However, A 14 dollar torta / sandwich? Every once in a while I guess that is okay. It is tasty AF. I will say that they are clearly skimping on the sides which previously came in a larger container. Potato salad is not expensive to make. GIVE ME TATORS! Anyway, still holds up as a flavor bomb in your mouth but there are many options out there that I can pass on the price alone.
