Litz Restaurant

Been going to this place for many years. Since I was a kid. Singaporean rice noodle is a must when I come here. Sometimes I just order two order of it. Generous amount. Eat the noodle with the chili oil they give you. It adds an extra kick. Also recommend their salt and pepper squid and laska curry noodle. These two and Singaporean rice noodle are the holy trinity. The staff is nice. There is a credit card minimum of 30 or 40 dollar. Always call ahead of time.

This review is long overdue. Litz is a favorite in Monterey Park. They prepare delicious seafood and noodle dishes - the Singapore-style laksa being my personal favorite. The chicken wings and fish with special chili are especially tasty. The staff are friendly, and they keep a relaxed atmosphere. Unpretentious, home-style cooking. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Very average. The curry flavor isn't very prominent and everything was very average.we had: 1) pineapple fried rice 2) ox toungue curry 3) mi fun 4) chicken curry. The most tasty thing here was the mi fun, everything else was a little bland. Also, service here was pretty bad. We were actually scolded by the servers several times when we asked for an extra plate set (they counted wrong) and for a water. As a side note, one of the waitresses takes bribes if you want to be seated first. Don't recall which one but saw it happen.
