China Super Buffet stayed closed for additional 2 months, even when other places were open half time. First time coming back here in Months, since they reopen. Not too many people were in yet and the Spacing were Great. All Employees, even the Cooks wore masks.
They put up partitions, have boxes of Gloves for use to handle service utensils and Masks for additional use. They have a Full Buffet even though part of it is Section off.
The Best time to go to Buffet places is when they just open at 11:05am.

Love this buffet! Still say lunch is better. Love the sushi bar! Main reason 4 this visit! Staff all seemed a little upset or angry this nite. All had same attitude. Not their usual, friendly selves!

The food wasn't bad. You can tell they leave food out too long and just mix it with fresh food. I went with my son's, one 5 & the other 2. They charged me $5+ change for my 2 year old and priced my 5 yr old the same as adult. ( I guess it's what everyone is doing now with kids 5 and older.?) But overall they were ok.🤷 Even though they brought my check and didn't ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks , I had to ask!.. Rude. But yeah.... Fair.🥴

Wish I had read the reviews... At 11:30 on a Sunday the food should NOT BE COLD. Food was dry and had very little flavor. Def not worth the $50 I just paid. Thank goodness nobody in my party had allergies because none of the food is labeled.

UPDATE 1 WEEK AFTER ORIGINAL 4 STAR POST
All cold and steam tables were up and running except for 1. Some items have dropped in quality this past week. Egg drop soup wasn't thickened. Lo mein tasted like spaghetti pasta. Fried rice looked like it was commercially made. My server was nice and attentive and the sweet tea was good. The fish tank was dirty, neglected, and 1/3 of water level has evaporated. DEFINITELY not clean like in the past. Poor fish!

I have been here 3 times now within 2 weeks while visiting Mobile Alabama for a class and work.
One plus is it really close to where I am at.
Other than that the food is so so definitely needs improvement.seasoning which can be tollerantedand freshness which is imperative is really something they need to work on. 😐
