Pho 88

I ordered the chicken curry noodle soup (L4 I believe) expecting a chicken curry noodle soup instead I got a chicken feet soup. I somehow missed the “chicken paws” description. I don’t mind chicken feet , but 1) I wasn’t expecting them and 2) they were not tender. Too tough, hard to get any meat out of them.

i’m always bummed that there aren’t many pho places around mobile but so glad to have found a nice place now! no wait time at all! the staff was lovely and so interactive. got their vegetarian pho and it felt so freshhh. the noodles inside were cooked to perfection and the broth itself made me feel very good. we got a small and the portion was hefty. had to leave most of it.

Great service. Great food. I had the V.4 brisket Pho. Broth was amazing. They didn't skip out on the meat. Very generous portion of noodles as well. Could have used some pork in the spring rolls but were still fantastic. Skip "the place across the street". Head to Pho 88 for a better and cleaner experience.

Take out order wasn't up to expectations. Ordered lemon grass chicken, it didn't come with rice and vietnamese meatloaf. Also ordered Pho with brisket, tendon, tripe and etc found out it only has brisket in it. Should've checked the order before I left the restaurant. Servers are friendly and the food is quite nice. Will be going back again for another chance and hope next time they'll get the order right.

They’ve recently opened back up since COVID-19 started but this time with new owners. They’ve renovated inside and it looks much better than before. Also the menu has changed quite a bit. Photos are added to show the updated menu. Even though the menu offered a lot of new items, it mainly offered a lot of Thai dishes and this restaurant is supposed to be a Vietnamese restaurant hence the name. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, that’s usually my go-to cuisine and it was really good. It had great flavor, plenty of meats and they offered all the veggies that are supposed to come with it. I’d come back for a bowl of this and I’ll try some Laotian food next time because I’ve never had that before.
