Went there recently and was still open in December. Service was quick and our sundaes were made well. I felt bad for the guy working there, looked really cold - guessing the building isn’t heated or insulated very well.
The Robbinsdale Dairy Queen was a first visit for us, even though we live in Crystal. Our Crystal Dairy Queen closed down many months ago. The staff here was super nice the other day when we visited. Even joking about the total. Very simple menu, we ordered a small Oreo blizzard, which I think came to $5.29? And my husband got a chocolate malt, I can't remember his total but the all-around total came to about $11.50? Service was quick, nice Shady overhang while you wait, the staff was friendly, there is a tip can, for cash, because there is no way to add a tip when you pay by card! There is a lot of available parking across the street on the street ,parallel parking. The business across the street is a bank, so after hours, it's very empty. There might be parking in the lot at DQ, I'm not sure? I'm using talk to text speech to make this message please excuse any errors. I don't think I took any pictures.
Mobile payment friendly. Great options for frozen treats. Less so for hot eats. Walk-up only, no indoor seating. Plenty of picnic benches on the side and out back. Always great for a late night guilty pleasure.

My kids had a free small cone coupon from a Minneapolis police officer for getting “caught” wearing a helmet on their bikes! I had to pay extra for the dipped and sprinkles but we all enjoyed our treats! Thanks Minneapolis PD!!
Dairy Queen was great, never fails. We noticed last week they had their windows broken out and they were already fixed. They're on it!
Too bad that happened to them.
Blizzards are more like milkshakes here, tastes good…but there is NO WAY they would pass the flip test! Taking away 1 star for that.
Nothing like the old fashion outside Dairy Queen, with the best ice cream ever. Chocolate sundae with extra chocolate is my favorite treat there.😋😁🥰💖
I discovered today that Dairy Queen sundaes are even better in the October Fall when it's 67 degrees in Minnesota.😁😋❣️
This is an old school DQ. Small, windows only walk up service. Service was smooth and timely. Set of 3 guys who each ordered 3 items, a gal who got 1 treat and my husband & I who got a total of 3. It was a cool night but the treats were delicious and nicely prepared. Wait was under 10 minutes for us. I only gave 4 stars because you can't use your DQ app there for the special deal on a Blizzard. So yea, old school that way, too! But the 2 guys working explained, apologized and were very nice about it.
Are they still open???
I love this little place. Staff is wonderful.
There is no drive up but it's cute size and location keeps lines down to a minimum. The staff was also very friendly and quick with orders. A little bit more of a drive for me over the crystal location but worth it for the service.
