So glad my husband and I found this place today. We walked in, saw the menu, walked out to look at the Chinese place next door, as soon as we walked into the Chinese place we walked right back out and into Oishi. Good prices for a good amount of food and very tasty. Also clean.

I lived in Tokyo for three years and I believe this to be the finest Japanese food in the Twin Cities. It's just a tiny sidewalk diner, nothing fancy, but it is truly authentic, priced much lower than those shi shi joints in uptown and downtown and simply good, Japanese common man food that you could find in any street corner in Japan.
This place rocks great food , awesome prices and great service. I stopped there for change as Subway next door could not break a $50 bill.I bought a chicken lunch bowl to break my $50 bill and now I am hooked on their great food.Friendly atmosphere and a great smile.I now go there at least twice or more a month , Randy
looks rinky dink but the sushi was great! They even helped me adjust some rolls to be gluten free! :-)
Great place to eat. Chicken teriyaki and spicy crunch roll on the menu is Awesomeness in your mouth guaranteed!!!! :)

Great food. Great value. Not the quickest..... which is nice since it shows nothing is pre fab. Check it out!
My favorite place to get chicken katsu. Just like the way my mom cooks it. Love it. The quality never disappoints.
