In The Loop Coffee Co

This is my fav coffee shop in ALL of Mpls. The dream team of baristas is HERE! Marissa, Arthur, Kya, Tori, and Brenda all make me (and my dog) feel right at home. Part of my daily routine this coffee shop is like coming home after a walk in the cold. One of my favorite parts about living in the North Loop! Oh, and it’s woman-owned. :) Another bonus! Thank you all for being a bright spot in Maggie and I’s day.

I love the cozy vibe of In The Loop. The seats along their shaded large windows with many planters are so inviting. Outdoor seating is also great especially the place being at the end of the 1st street without constant traffic. Latte and scone were delicious. Dog friendly and they also have puppy treats available for sale.

Happiness is indulging in a blissful visit to this friendly neighborhood Independent coffeeshop. All of the food is freshly made on-site w real ingredients (no packaged mixes), and both the coffee and teas are superb. Try all of the specialties! Apart from the delicious drinks and food, what truly makes this shop stand out are the friendly, knowledgeable baristas, who can be funny and sassy but treat each customer, both human and canine, with care and respect. Looking for decadence? Ask for one of Marisa’s bourbon rolls or Arthur’s chai lattes. Kya’s London Fog would also do the trick. Need a bit of zen? Tori makes delicious matcha. And Brenda does everything well. (If she weren’t a barista, she’d make an excellent bartender.). Skip the chain coffee shops. Make In the Loop your go-to spot.

Tried coming here last week with some friends and they only had one employee (that I could see anyways) working her heart out with a huge line of customers waiting to order. It looked like she was completely overwhelmed with orders but she was still doing her best to keep the line moving. Give that poor woman a raise or some backup. We ended up getting coffee elsewhere but that was on us for visiting during peak hours on a weekend with a group of 5+ people. Didn’t really think that one through. Other than that, I loved the vibe of the place. The dog photos on the walls are really cute. I also got to pet someone’s dog while waiting in line. Instant 10/10 because dogs.
