A&J Fish and Chicken is a Minneapolis staple. Great food good service. Atmosphere is friendly and the patrons are from all age, nation and spiritual representation. I highly recommend this place. Prices are moderate and the quality and amount of the is generous. Blessed establishment and staff.

I tried this place today. I tried the fried chicken. It was decent for fried chicken. My only complaint is it was a little salty for my taste. Not bad overall. I really liked the hot sauce. Also got a piece of the 7up pound cake. Not as good as my Aunt Pearl's but nobody makes it like that. My uncle proposed to her because of that cake.

Food was absolutely.tasty and very friendly personable service. I had a cheeseburger and onion rings and it was very good. So dont let the name fool you, there is more than fish and chicken. Next time I am in the area, I dont have to wonder what there is around to eat. I'll be back.

Love this place they have a huge menu great for the whole family decently priced even the kids meals are cheap and plentiful they always have a special going on and if you're looking for just breaded fried chicken wings catfish gyros burgers everything is serve hot and fresh

Wish the prices were what they use to be but this place is a hood classic will always be cool with the catfish and chicken combo on a football day.

I order food from A&J often. It's a good place. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I have gotten sick a few times from the food I got there. The last time I got sick when I ordered from there.

I order a 3 item special. Didn't even know about the fries that was a surprise. The chicken was seasoned and crisp. The fish was yummy. i haven't ate catfish in 10 years or more but i ain't mad cause it was good. The shrimp was ok also for fast food place. They give a bunch of sauces and 2 pieces of white bread. Also a small cup of slaw, that i didn't try yet. I work 5 minutes away so I'll return. I enjoyed my dinner sitting on the bed watching Master Chef. I have enough left for lunch and dinner tomorrow. Plus a piece of Carmel cake.
