Stumbled across this donut shop after an outstanding breakfast at our kitchen
They had or have brown butter ice cream and lazed donuts OMG bursting with that unique sweet brown butter taste!

Bogart’s is the best! We took out of town folks to Bogart’s for a morning donut run today. Their coffee was strong and delightful. We got the sampler box (seven donuts to share between four people was perfect). If you have a sweet tooth, the vanilla custard donut is to die for. If you prefer subtle sweetness, the brown butter donut is fluffy, chewy, and not overly sweet. Their yeast donuts remind me of brioche or a croissant. I loved how chocolate-y the chocolate cake donut was. Love this place.
Favorite donut spot in the Twin Cities! Service is always friendly and quick. Late mornings/afternoons seem to be a good time to stop in. I’ve never had to wait and street parking right outside has always been available then.
Lilly Lilly Lilly. Such a gem. My sisters were frequent flyers at Bogart’s pre and during the pandemic but I on the other hand wasn’t. Today, I was craving donuts (which is rare) and decided to order online from Bogart’s but sadly some of the donuts we wanted were sold out. I called in and Lilly picked up. She was polite and helpful. She allowed me to still place an order (which I totally screwed up lol) online. When I went in to grab my to go order, I was pleasantly greeted by her. She kindly explained to me how the variety pack works (which donuts it comprised of) for future reference. All in all, the donuts were a hit but it was Lilly’s exceptional customer service that made my experience. Lilly— I hope your manager sees this! Thank you! :)
Stopped for the brown butter ice cream and found out it was happy hour, so we got a free doughnut with our purchase! Went with a raised glazed—so good. Fresh and not overly sweet. Ice cream is creamy and flavorful with real vanilla bean. One cup of ice cream (it’s small, but they fill it tall!) + a doughnut was a perfect treat to share for two!
The lavender cake donut was flavorful without an overpowering flower taste! A proud woman-owned business with a friendly vibe. Went just after 12 PM on a Saturday and they had a decent selection, though sign with hours did say, 'or until sold-out.'
The chocolate cake and Cinnamon glazed donuts were great. The Cinnamon glazed donut was huge, bigger than my hand. The brown butter frosted donut was big and fluffy, but had way too much icing for me. Half that amount of icing would be so much better.
After living in mpls for years and years I finally made it over to Bogart's in person and this may become a dangerous habit. I love the simple, clean, and old school decor of the tiny shop. The staff were all fantastic- efficient yet friendly. And the donuts are to die for of course. I can't get over the chewy eggy texture of the yeast donuts, almost like a crepe met a donut. There's a reason the brown butter frosting donuts are famous- it lends the perfect amount of sweet rich flavor to the more savory donut itself. I thought the coffee was particularly tasty as well; probably better than they need to have but very welcome
Enjoyed coming here on a chilly day. Got the variety pack for $18 ish which came with all the best sellers (7 donuts in total). These Donuts are very fresh. Light fluffy. I love that they are not tooth aching sweet.
Amazing donuts, solid cold-brew coffee, cute date spot, local business that is well worth supporting. They open nice and early, but close as soon as their donuts sell out (they sell out every day). The best donut is their browned butter glazed. Otherwise, they have fun specials most days. Not a place for millennial fancy-looking donuts, but D*MN they taste good, and you can tell they're baked with love.
Update: they now have soft-serve ice cream! I believe the best flavor is the brown butter. They also have "soft serve happy hour" - after 1pm they give you a donut for free with each soft serve!
