Being from Pittsburgh I've had hundreds of steak hoagies. Lived in MN 18 years never had a good steak hoagie up here till today. Uncle Frankie's has hands down best steak hoagie made right. The staff was super friendly and I'm still not sure if they doubled the meat or that's the actual portion because it felt like about 3 lbs of meat in that hoagie. Big pile of cheese, peppers meat on a toasted hoagie. Perfection.
Wow a little hidden secret. This place is amazing and the have Chicago dogs too. All sorts of food you only find at a small joint like this. Great service too
This is the spot for simple bugers & dogs without all the unchanging for fanfare. Straightforward, good grub. Food is named for the specific theme for each item (Chicago dog or Carolina slaw dog).
I had the Mo-town chili burger and cheese curds (which i enjoyed more without the ranch, but thays just me). Quick, cooked to order service. The staff engaged with everyone coming in. Good vibe.
Little dive burger joint with great food. The coney and slaw dog were awesome. The Cajun seasoning on the fries are a must. I'll be going back a lot for sure.
Absolutely incredible! The veggie burger tasted like an actual burger and the amount of beef provided in the Italian beef was amazing!! Highly recommend!
Uncle Frankys is a perfect example of a great hole in the wall joint with a mom and pop diner vibe to it. The place isn't big, the cook is at most 10-12ft away from you cooking your food which is awesome. Let's talk about the service first. The gal taking orders behind the counter clearly likes what she does. She was enthusiastic and helpful with everything she did. The food was cooked quick and served in right away. The taste was true to "Chicago style", dragged through the garden, topped with everything etc. Presentation was wonderful, had my mouth watering right away. Pricing was what you would expect, nothing over the top imo. This menu is a good size, I will definitely be back to try more. Definitely make a stop in here if you're looking for a good bite to eat.

All I can say is Chicago Dog! It’s so good. I got it with tots. Everything is fresh, tasty, and affordable. Portions are generous. The staff is friendly and engaging with enjoyable Chicago schtick. Very clean and nice tables. It’s not health food, but it is good. Glad Uncle Franky’s in the neighborhood!

Best hot dogs in the city! No comparison! Chili is top notch as well, and who has local craft soda in their fountain. Best diet cola I have ever had. Looks like nothing, couldn't be more the opposite
Great food. Just wish they cleaned off the tables in-between customers. We went in the place and it was packed. We were the last ones to leave, and instead of her cleaning off the tables before new guests came in, she was on her phone. We had to sit at a dirty table.
The staff here is awesome and so much fun! We really got a kick out of them. The food is really good and was impressed on how yummy it was. They also have local made craft soda on tap which is very good as well. The place may look a little rough but it just adds to the character I think it puts it in the category of a wonderful dive bar but without alcohol. We will be back for more yummy food!
