I am the owner of Vivid interior in the neighborhood. We have been have breakfast & lunch there for over 11 years. The staff is amazing, the food is awesome, and soups are a must. Bob the owner is one of our favorite people! We have enjoyed supporting his business!
Let me tell you. I've worked in the neighborhood for nearly 5 years and lived here for nearly 3. I've made them a very regular stop. The staff knows me by name and I, them. They're so, amazingly friendly! They make SUCH GOOD FOOD! Like... all of it. I've seen them deal with mistakes and they always continue to have charm and positive character. I've seen them deal with unruly customers and they're always far too kind. This will never stop being my favorite place to gather, eat breakfast (or anything, really), grab a cuppa-something, have a late evening glass of wine and cheesecake, or direct people to for their needs. I'm a lucky girl to live so close. Thanks for always being amazing!
Out with old, in with the new!
This my new Starbucks replacement as we are collectively boycotting it, considering what’s going on.
I got the iced blended chai and it was soooo good. If you are a chai fan, you will love this drink.
Overall the atmosphere is nice, a bunch of people doing their work were there when I visited. Seems to be a good spot to study or work.
I love cuppa Java!
Very friendly staff- inviting and older atmosphere meaning dimmed lighting which I appreciate. My white chocolate Mocha was delicious 😋
Charming little coffee shop sanctuary in Bryn Mawr neighborhood. Delightful experience and highly recommend
A great community coffee shop filled with people living in the neighborhood. I really enjoyed sitting outside with their drip brew and a breakfast sandwich on a Saturday morning.
First time stopping by, I’ve driven by this place so many times for years and I’m so happy I finally came. The best part? I got a French soda and it was delicious! They have cream in them so I got lavender flavor and it was so good I wanted another one. I want to stop by again to try one of their sandwiches and other drinks. Staff was so kind too. They were beyond friendly and mentioned that they genuinely love working there. The worst part? Can’t complain. You do have to find street parking but it wasn’t hard to find a spot.
My very favorite coffee shop in the Twin Cities! It is like Cheers but with delicious coffee and thick, delicious sandwiches! Who else but Bob and Jeff keep their staff for years? We need more neighborhood haunts like Cuppa Java!
Nice little family style neighborhood coffee/deli house with seating inside and outside. Good food, I’m not an evening coffee drinker. So I don’t know about the coffee itself.
Fairly quiet friendly clientele there was a spirit of familiarity
My particular night was interrupted by tired steaming children, I’m sure that’s not the norm, because it was way past their bed time
I ordered the chai latte and Cubano sandwich. Excellent. The latte was very flavorful. The sandwich was tasty, good amount of filling. I'll be going back soon. My friend had a seasonal apple pie cider drink that she loved.
Nice neighborhood coffee shop. Good coffee, selection of pastries. Lots of tables, friendly staff.
One of my favorite spots to relax and drink coffee. The staff here have always been incredibly friendly, quick about getting food to customers, and great at working through even the busiest of days.
Tip the hell out of these wonderful people!
Pictured with this review is one example of the always delicious lunch options (tuna melt). Not pictured is the wide array of delicious baked goods and cakes and other sweets.
