Great service, great atmosphere, great food. Server was attentive and wonderful. Food was fresh and delivered on a conveyer belt. There is so many choices! You just grab what you want and pay for what you eat! Careful though, it can add up at bill time.

Excellent food and service. The Gyoza and Katsu were incredible, along with all the choices available on the train. A lot of great options here, we'll be coming back for sure!!

First experience at Sushi Train was fantastic. Jerry was our server, very informative and attentive to us and helped me have a great start to my birthday shenanigans. I tried RAW sushi for the first time (just skeptical about the raw meat) but I LOVED it! So many options to choose from and my group of 3 tried several different kinds of sushi. All were great. The Mexican roll was my favorite! My martini and Sake bomb were both delicious as well.

Update: One unusual thing to note. After eating at Sushi Train, our clothes had an oiler smell. According to the other couple that we went with, who have been here several times before, this is typical. Your clothing will have this oily smell. It was very bothersome to my spouse, who insisted that we wash our coats. Because of this, I downgraded the rating from 5 to 4 stars. ************************************************************** Very interesting sushi restaurant. Similar to others that use some type of system to move plates around, allowing customers yo take what they want. If they can order off menu. Out group of floor sat at counter and picked over a dozen different plates. Ranging from edamame to sashimi. Good (but not great rolls). Even picked several dessert plates. It was crowded and a little loud. Would have preferred a booth, but all taken.

Our kids had so much fun here! Being able to grab snag you’d like was fun and easy. Everything was fresh and delicious. It’s easy to just keep grabbing plates and before you know it you have a big stack. We also ordered miso soup and two orders of gyoza! The purple plates are the most expensive but also have the most robust flavors. The macaroons were good too! We will for sure be back!

Sushi Train was a fun place to go to get a quick sushi fix. While not for everyone, it is fun just sitting, enjoying and being able to select delectable sushi based on what’s going around on the plates off the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt went around at a decent pace that they kept full continuously. I really liked that the sushi was not a huge amount of packed rice! There was a good amount of fish that was fresh and cut nicely to even out all the rolls. If you’re game to trying new things then try the Cajun roll. That was really unique, delicious and packed with flavor! Yanni my server was really nice, attentive, smiling and talking with everyone. He made the lunch very enjoyable. Merci beaucoup Yanni! There was a great variety of sushi items both cold, hot, salad, tempura and sashimi to choose from. They had mini macarons as a desert item although I wish they would have had the sweet red bean paste fish shaped warm pastry “taiyaki” desert. Friendly suggestion - this is something they can add as a menu item that people love to finish their meal out. Nice sushi experience, good price, no rushing and a pretty good crowd of people going in for lunch!

Delectable & Delightful! After a rough day I found this place and my bad vibes simply melted away. The cozy atmosphere, laid back dining experience with the slow conveyor going by, and amicable service was just what I needed to relax and enjoy. Every dish was delish, and though it was easy to wrack up a bill a tad on the heavy side, I was more than happy to pay for quality & distinct items. My absolute favorites were the ikura gunkan (salmon roe eggs), sweet potato roll, and the crab & cucumber salad. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to treat themselves and end the day right!

You cannot expect world class sushi at a conveyor sushi joint but the overall value Sushi Train provides is probably unparalleled. The individual dishes are reasonably priced and surprising good. Definitely better than most conveyor or regular sushi restaurants. The fish is solid, they don't skimp on the portions, udon and gyoza were also quite phenomenal. Was really surprised to see this caliber of a conveyor belt joint in the mid-west. Absolutely a delight.

Super fun environment. Reasonably priced sushi and a great variety. Cool to see it getting made and “train” by you. Pricing structure is easy to follow. If you don’t see a roll, just ask!
