Great place for breakfast! I sat at the counter. It was fast, hot and large portion. Service was great and very attentive. I will be back.

We eat here somewhat regularly, the food is good and staff is fun, it's kid friendly (our guy loves the barney breakfast!) and the cajun hash is super duper!
My favorite place for great down home breakfast, staff are wonderful.
I had the Everything Omelet. The hash browns were auwsome & the omelet was to die for along with a great cup of coffee!!!
Fantastic food and service! The Minnesota omelette is amazing! First time I was not in the "clean plate" club! Wow, lot of food at a great price!

Ate there today. Love the food. Always good and plentiful. Diverse and eclectic mix of people. Absolutely NO prejudice against anyone have I ever seen here. Staff are always welcoming and helpful and quick to make sure you have everything you need. Media reports were a nothing-burger...unnecessary, un-newsy and minimized or not mentioned that the 2 employees did war re-enactments.
In other words the "story was contrived and created for shock effect from a unfortunate picture lacking explanation that they were actors in costume" (perhaps they have never seen the Sound of Music) Unfair to a great place to eat for the whole family, friends and new friends.

We stayed in Uptown recently and were looking for a good breakfast spot. When I saw pictures of the hash browns I knew we had to go. We ended up going twice! The food was delicious with hearty portions. But those hash browns…they need to teach every breakfast place their secret. These were some of the BEST ones I’ve ever had! Hot, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I actually talked to the kitchen manager on our second visit because they need to know THIS IS HOW IT IS DONE! Nice menu, great staff and fantastic food.
First time on a real diner... and the counter area was closed due to cleaning haha... well I used a booth. Food was great, I had biscuits and gravy with hash and eggs... soooo delicious!!! And huge portion. I had to take half of it to go. The biscuit was buttery and soft, the gravy savory and creamy. The hash was nice and crispy and the runny yolk made the perfect bite with a bit of everything.
The hot chocolate with whipped cream was great, not overly sweet.
The waiter made a mistake and she charged me with someone elses table, but when I told her she voided the wrong charge quickly enough. I hope it won't be an issue with my bank statement.

Awesome, friendly service and great diner fare. The pancakes are bigger than your face! We were seated promptly in a comfy booth. Bustling atmosphere but still conducive to carrying on conversation with your family or friends. Great spot.
I ordered a special burrito that's $16.5. It was big that i finished just the third of it. I asked to take out the leftover and waitress just gave me a box. I did put for the food in. I paid in cash $22. Told her to keep the change.
The taste of the burrito was not that bad and id say the food should be a healthy one. It got vegies and black beans. The pulled pork was generous. Fresh tomato sauce and sour cream over it.
I have lived here for a year and I cannot believe I had never been here. The staff was immediately warm and welcoming; very comfortable diner. Our server was great; the menu is extensive and the food was AMAZING. I’m a breakfast lover and they have so many all day options. I can’t stop recommending it to my friends. Will absolutely be back!

I have to say that I really like the breakfast and you should come by for some great breakfast. They cooked it exactly how I wanted it. Their eggs were spot on. Plenty of cheese and cooked to perfection. It was definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for the meal!
I ordered doordash and put in notes that I needed the sauce on the side bc I was hungover and need to slowly bring my taste buds to their full potential, one of the employees was nice enough to send me free ice water with a note to drink water, this was amazing because my apartment water kinda tastes like what I imagine Phoebe Waller-Bridge's bathwater tastes like, not quite rancid, but not quite right. Thanks to whatever arctic glacier they got over at uptown diner they got the coldest, crispest water to ever bless my mouth, it was like sipping straight from the fountain of youth, I love you guys you saved me from the great headache of '23
My lady ordered a steak and she didn't eat it. My food came out with no problems.
This is a nice diner in the middle of town. It has a lot of choices when it comes to food, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The only thing is that my Cajun Breakfast was good, but the sausage was not very good. It had a very strange taste to it and it tasted very artificial. They do bring a lot of food, so be very hungry when you come. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good bite to eat.
Very tasty food and classic diner atmosphere. The waiter was friendly. Always good to see gluten free bread on the menu! I hope to return soon to try more of their offerings.
This is a great place to meet friends for a meal. We had breakfast and everyone was happy with their food. The hash browns were perfectly crispy, the sausage links were delicious, and the eggs were PERFECT! Our server was friendly and attentive. The restroom was clean. We will be back!
Really good food and affordable. The waiter we had was really attentive and came around frequently to check on us. Only complaint is he didn't give us quite enough time to look at the menu but he was still great. Delicious pancakes and eggs Benedict!

Great original diner spot! Lived in the area since 1993 and drove by and never stopped to enjoy it. Although pricey, very worth a diner meal. Self-seat, order, and enjoy! Greeted immediately, open diner bar and dining room, and lengthy menu choices. Come here for specialties, hashbrowns, and pancakes. Meat is typical but not their specialty. Must try!
Food was not bland but light on seasoning which is fine because the table is stocked with typical salt, pepper, jelly, hot sauces, ketchup, butter, and creamer. Our order appeared slim on long oval plates but once you dig in...hopefully you'll consume everything.
Generously portioned hashbrowns and pancakes. Worth it! The thinly shredded hashbrown and large-fluffy pancakes are a must-have here!
1. Steak combo $19.25: 7oz sirloin, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. Ordered my steak medium rare, scrambled easy with blue cheese and rye toast. The toast was buttered and crispy. Eggs lightly scrambled with blue cheese-YUM! the stringy hashbrowns were crispy but with a moist feel. The steak appeared to have been tenderized with a mallet so the texture was like a hamburger steak and the cook was medium.
2. #2 Favorite combo $15.25: Pancakes are the hit of this plate! Ordered OE eggs and it was perfect. Bacon was crisp and you can tell it was baked. Totally fine but prefer freshly crisped in the pan. Pancakes tasted delightful as it was drenched in syrup at the table. The absolute greatest thing is it didn't just drench and tasted like syrup it held its texture and fluffiness. Beats other typical breakfast places.
