My husband and I agree that this was in the top 10 of memorable meals. Modestly appointed, but with excellent drinks, good wine list, and unbelievably refined cuisine. Each dish was exquisitely prepared and seasoned, each dish with its own unique flavor palette. We would definitely revisit this place the next time we are in Minneapolis, and have recommended it to our friends already. Bravissimo!

We had 6 dishes between the 2 of us and every single one was amazing...It was more than enough food but there was too many items we wanted to try! The scallops are a must. This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The service was also spectacular.

Family went there for brunch, and all 4 dishes we ate were amazing. Great flavors, and fresh ingredients. They've got a nice decor as well. The waiter showed us the dinner menu and I could see a dozen dishes that I'd love to go back and try.

Costa Blanca is a masterful tapas restaurant to join the ranks of Rincon 38 in Minneapolis...... and I suppose that would be it for tapas in this city haha. The key source of why it is so delicious lies in the seasonings and sauces they create to enhance main ingredients like proteins, pastas, and vegetables. Every ingredient and flavor of each dish plays an important part and each plate is composed beautifully. In case you did not know this is a Tapas style Spanish bistro, so the plates are small yet shareable with 2 people, but don't try and go past 2 people as they are surely not big enough for 3 or more. That might be the secret as to why tapas works so well as a cooking style because the chef can focus in on single smaller pieces of art rather than needlesly put forth effort on portion sizes. Tapas is efficient yet artistic at the same time. This being said be warned that you must not expect large portions of food like you'd get at an average restaurant. Tapas is a different style so it must be enjoyed differently, meaning you are supposed to try multiple things and SHARE. I also enjoyed a drink called the Revelation which had a strong pineapple/sour taste to it. I would recommend having it with food and not so much on its own. We enjoyed 2 desserts while we were here but I do not have photos as the GF destroyed them as soon as they came to the table. We had the flourless chocolate torta with raspberry sauce. The torta has a texture like a very soft and moist brownie and the raspberry sauce was sweet and mellow, not obnoxious like you see so often. But the star of dessert was definitely the churros! Although they aren't otherworldly better than any other churro I've had these ones are just done to perfection with the perfect consistency and flavorings. But what makes them standout is the marscapone cream that comes with them, as well as the dark chocolate. That cream is wonderful! It is like whipped cream but with a thicker texture and a perfect mellow sweetness that resembles vanilla but on a whole different level. We licked that souffle cup until it was bone dry. And last when you come here take the opportunity to try some Spanish wine🍷 . You just don't see that many places carry it in the Twin Cities and it is a criminally underrated wine! I feel that Spanish wine is very distinctive above other wines and it goes very well with tapas cooking. This is our 2nd time here in the last 2 years and the menu has not changed noticeably so if I had to point out one thing it would be that they reuse similar ingredients for some dishes. The whole shrimps and baby spinach are in multiple dishes so try to order a variety of things to get the most out of the experience. So I can give this place my highest recommendation. There are just not enough tapas places but I can understand as it is a different style than most other restaurants so it could be out of most people's comfort zone but if you are open to different things you will find a 💎 gem of a cullinary experience here.

This was my first intro into tapas and I am in love! This teeny tiny bistro has a ton of charm. I ordered the Mero (Swordfish, polenta, micro greens, and Saffron butter sauce), and it was amazing. Our server was really nice and attentive, even though she was the only person in the front of the house. I cannot wait to go back!

Excellent food that reminded me and my wife of our trip to Spain last year. Full bar menu to go along with the Tapas (small plates). Costa Blanca was the finest dining experience I have had in N.E. Minneapolis by far.

Had a few great dishes and a few that were close. Small place but nice atmosphere and surprisingly not too loud considering all the tables were full.

Didn't have enough of the menu to say the offering was hit or miss. What we ordered was hit or miss. My cocktail was unbalanced, but my wife's was fantastic, the tapas I ordered was great, but the one my wife ordered was good (it grew on us). The atmosphere was very appealing and the staff was friendly and attentive. We would be happy to go back.
