We were attending a Rose Wine Dinner Al Fresco dinner created by the Chef Johnathan Hunt and Erin Ungerman from the New France Wine Company
The restaurant has a very cool patio with retractable roof above, absolutely great feature.
The restaurant was busy , the patio was full with all guests attending this event.
All reservation could be done with Opentable app. The restaurant had some issues with the app but we were able to fix the confusion.
The restaurant is large with many different rooms inside but for us the patio was the most important.
As our reception wine was ; Tintero . Piemonte Rosato 2018 from Italy, very nice , refreshing ,exciting and bubbly.
Primo
Chilled tomato soup, avocado, jicama, radish- phenomenal dish, great for the hot days, fresh, refreshing very smooth, excellent
Avignonesi, Cantaloro ROse 18, Italy- very light almost like Pinot Grigio, to me it was just too flat and without any excitement
Secondo
Beef tartare, remoulade, pickled ramps, crostini
Clos Cibonne, Cotes de Provence Rose Traditional 17, France -it was
Terzo
Seafood paella, chorizo, saffron, peas and sofrito very good spanish paella prepared by chef Marco
Bodegas Los Bermejos, Rosado, Lanzarote 18 Spain ( Canary Islands) it was great pairing wine with paella
Il Quarto
Stone fruit tart, vanilla gelato both were really tasty and exciting
Elio Perrone, Bigaro Rose 18, Italy was fruity and sweet, good combination with our dessert
The restaurant is fun, the patio makes a huge difference, all tables inside have tablecloths and nice candles on the tables. Looks like Al Vinto can accommodate a lot of guests in their two big rooms and the patio.Thy have two restrooms and they were nice a clean.
Service during our event was good but not great ,somehow all waiters were either tired ,not so happy or just really did not care much. Just simply looked like they were there for the job only, lock of excitement was visible.
Chef Marco did a phenomenal job cooking spanish paella, chef Jonathan, Erin and the Al Vinto supporting team did a fine job preparing all dishes during our event. Thank you all.
Overall the event was educational and fun, four courses were plenty for me to enjoy the evening. Al Vento is a cool place, especially at the patio. I really recommend this place .

Great little spot for fresh Italian eats. Always offering a fun deal - for example currently Tuesdays there's a 3-course date night option.
Friendly staff but service was a little slow considering it was only moderately busy. We will definitely be eating here again in the near future.

Al Vento has such a nice atmosphere, especially in the summer on the covered patio. The food is very good. Not amazing, but they are worthy of their status as a respected establishment within the community.

Great four course tasting menu! It was a fair price for a fancy night out: 25 bucks a plate! And Mondays are half priced bottles of wine nights!

Outstanding experience on my first visit. Top notch service, food, ambiance, and value. Great place for a date or an occasion. Looking forward to returning.
Edit: Returned after 6 months. As outstanding as ever.

The food was really good (chicken piccata, spaghetti with meatballs, gnocchi and flank steak). Service was awful. We waited for an hour before our entree arrived. Then another hour to get through desert and the check. Deserts were great (pistachio ice cream, chocolate torte). This is the second time I've experienced what seemed to be inexperienced wait staff. Unacceptable for the menu prices, $150 for a table of four. 2 hour Italian dinners aren't bad if courses are I involved but this wasn't that. Our waiter disappeared for stretches and ignored very basic things like serving olive oil with the bread (I had to eventually get up and track down the oil myself). No food is good enough to endure bad service.

We went last Friday for the first time expecting a great dinner and got the complete opposite. We had dinner reservations for 7:45pm for a party of 4 and were seated right away. Ordered a round of drinks for 2 of us and split a bottle of wine between the other 2 people. The drinks were brought back and we ordered 2 appetizers and our dinner. The appetizers came out pretty quick. No one ever came back around to see if we wanted another round of drinks. Over 45 minutes went by before we seen the waitress again who then brought out 2 of the main dishes which were cold. I asked mine to be reheated because I didn't want to eat cold clams and hard noodles and my sister chose to eat hers cold because she was so hungry. The other 2 dishes were hot. We did not get 1 of items that we ordered which the waitress later brought out and did not charge us for. It was a single meatball. There were people seated after us who got their main dishes before us.
Overall it was a terrible experience from the food to the service.

Food was amazing. Service left something to be desired. I hear they have new management since I've been there so it may have improved, but when I was there we hardly saw our server. Though the assistant did keep our waters full, we were left with empty drinks for most of our meal. Once we ordered our food it came fairly quickly, so it's not a ticket time issue. If I could have had another glass of wine or beer the wait would not have been quite so annoying.
