Nate was a pleasure! So pleasant and knowledgeable. The tartar was excellent and the pasta lamb was tender and delicious. Both the apple and the blondie were great. Beautiful atmosphere with the sun setting on those huge windows and jazz music (Friday night). Definitely coming back!
This is my 4th time here and I’ve never been on the patio at night before so this was a different experience for me. I felt the patio could use its own lighting rather than depending on the streetlights and the Lurcat sign. I felt it was difficult to read the menu. Once I realized my table was missing a candle the waitress Lindsey told me it was available by request as to not waste materials. I liked that it was quieter outside rather than inside the restaurant was quite noisy with the music playing overhead and the chatter of guests.
Lindsey was great! And another server/runner/busser was even helpful to box my leftovers up for me! I wish more restaurants kept this practice! It’s my favorite service! 💕
The Apple Cheese Chive was the best salad I have EVER had. I don’t like lettuce so it was so refreshing to have a fruit salad option that isn’t like my moms marshmallow “apple salad”. I feel like this salad needs to boast on its menu that it has been there for 30 years under D’Amico’s as Ben the manager told me the apples are Pink Lady and the cheese is Manchego.
I was able to order a NA daiquiri on the menu and asked to add a coconut rum to it as the cocktail options weren’t sweet enough for me AND have rum.
Service was slow at first but seemed to ramp up after 9:30 at the official close time. My reservation was at 9pm but I really only came for drinks and dessert this time.
Dessert tastes amazing like I rolled my eyes inside my skull 💀 I could have died happy. It looked very underwhelming in presentation. I thought at first it was just a plain scoop of vanilla. I wanted to see some sort of razzle dazzle like a line of peanut butter drizzle over my peanut butter ice cream. At least a whip cream star out of a can? Anything? Please?
Forgive my high standards now I just finished watching The Bear on Hulu and my eyes are even more open to detail than ever before.
After a long week, it was a pleasure to be able to decompress with a little perfect-weather outdoor dining at an old favorite (first discovered when I moved to the area ~20yrs ago).
From burgers and blue cheese butter to swordfish and summer cocktail to tawny port accompanied by nothing short of a stellar team of charming and attentive wait staff.
Bonus: a little live dinner music quartet!
I went to celebrate three birthdays with two friends. The environment and design of the restaurant is lovely and the food is wonderful. I chose the Seabass and it did not disappoint. I come from California and am used to good seafood, prepared well. My dish was great. My two friends also said their food was wonderful. I would go back in a flash. If only it weren’t quite so expensive. But they deserve that price because their food and service are truly spectacular.
Absolutely beautiful dining experience. Great food and top-notch service. Was our second visit, and I can't wait to go back.
To say this restaurant is phenomenal would be an understatement. The setting is stunningly beautiful, the food superb, cocktails and wine choices were excellent, the service impeccable. Our waiter knew details about each dish that made us want to try everything.
We sat down thinking we would do our usual salads, share a few appetizers and end with a dessert. We were so intrigued by the menu and our server’s top notch engagement with us that we had a full four course meal and even paired a delicious bottle of wine with our entrees.
We will definitely be back!
The restaurant was nice and the food was good but the serving position of the shishito peppers was too much the sauce was yummy spices that were not mixed in well. But I’m giving this place 5 stars because I really liked the bbq salmon and dessert.
Go, just go! We made 3 reservations before settling on this amazing restaurant, and we are so happy that we picked this one. The staff is unmatched. Leah, Ross, and Louis are incredible and made our night. The ambiance and food were unmatched. They truly have the gift of being able to deliver top notch service at an upscale level. The proof is in the details. You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you for a much needed incredible night.
MN2022: Last year, as hard as we tried, we couldn't get a reservation for a party of five. Not unless we wanted to eat really late in the evening. Having said that, this trip our niece booked well in advance. We were not disappointed. The space, the service and the food were all excellent. We are definitely looking forward to dining here on our next visit.
Definitely feels like an elevated dining experience from start to finish. I enjoyed the experience at Lucrat more than the food. I got the Lucrat burgers and they felt so rich it felt like I was eating 60/40 beef. The oysters were an absolute homerun, the Mignonette was extremely well made and the horseradish was freshly ground. I would go back for a happy hour and some oysters.
