Wonderful old school cafeteria style dining. The building and atmosphere is reminiscent of an old school dinner but much larger. The food is pretty good. They also have european sidewalk seating. The New York Style Rubin was fantastic. The German Potatoe salad was ok.

Every time I leave a restaurant in Northeast Minneapolis, and realize how close I am to Kramarscuk's, I slap my forehead! How could I have been so close and not eaten at this amazing, authentic, James Beard award winning restaurant! The food is authentic, and the variety in the restaurant is dazzling. The staff behind the counter in the line is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and willing to give recommendations (which have never let me down!). My only challenge when I stop by for lunch is figuring out if I try something new off the variety-laden menu, or go with a stand-by favorite. Either way, I always leave satisfied and full! Today a friend and I split a Ukrainian Sausage, a Sauerkraut Pierogi, and we each had a bowl (a cup is not enough) of the Goulascz with a (massive) hard roll. It is possible we were also convinced to get cheese pillow cookies at the register! We ended our visit in the Deli with my typical order of in-house made beef-jerky and Kabanosy biersticks. Free off-street parking is available in an adjoining lot, if you want to sit in a booth, arrive before 11:30!

This place is amazing! Old world bakery with many offerings. Cheesecake, struesel, cookies, challah, rye, eclairs, canoli and much more. Great selection of meats with the best jerky. Huge selection of European chocolate/candy. Super friendly staff. Love the experience and love Ukraine 🇺🇦 Shop and support freedom. Hope to revisit for lunch soon.

LOVE this place. We stop when we travel here and pick up a large order of different items, put 'em in a cooler and take it home. Love the fresh kielbasa, but so many other items as well. Can't beat the bakery items! If you're stopping there, grab something, like the cabbage roll, to eat.

Omg the food was good. I had the cabbage roll and the goulascz. I try to eat here whenever I’m in the area. Classic Ne spot with really good home cooked meals. They have sandwiches for lunch and a free parking lot adjacent to the building. Highly recommend.

This is the most delicious place ever!!! I absolutely die for the cabbage roll with the tomato cream sauce on top and the meat pierogies are very flavorful, especially with the grilled onions and sour cream to go with. The Polish sausage with melted cheese and grilled onions on top of the homemade bun is truly spectacular! Everything is homemade and authentic and served with care. I love that it's a cafeteria-style ordering experience too, so you can see everything and try different things. All of the desserts are phenomenal as well - especially the chocolate eclair and various cakes! (Pictured is the apricot torte.) 😍 Try everything and you will NOT be disappointed!! 😋👍

What a nice place! One side is the store with excellent baked goods and a HUGE selection of Eastern European meats and sausages. I absolutely loved the apple streusel cake. The other half of the place is a restaurant/cafeteria with outstanding food! The cabbage rolls are fantastic (and HUGE) and the pierogies delicious. The rolls are available with your choice of three sauces and the pierogies are served with sour cream and sautéed onions. Definitely want to go back and try a LOT more!
