My favorite beer garden by far! The view is amazing, the beer, wine and food is really good. Fun Yard games, a park for the kids and an opportunity to enjoy our beautiful lakefront. Always a good time.
It's a wonderful place for a beer garden. Being able to be at the lakefront and enjoy an artistic setting with beer, good food, and interesting music is such a plus for a summer evening.
Great place to grab a beer and a bite to eat! Extensive beer and food menu as well as great views of Lake Michigan and downtown Milwaukee. Family friendly atmosphere, nearby playground as well open spaces for kids to run around. Also on the Oak Leaf bike trail, so you can ride your bike here! Plus they have bike racks to secure your bike
There are not enough positive adjectives to describe this place. The staff was amazingly friendly. The food was really good, the views, forget about it, AWESOME!! The beer selection was really good, plus you get to keep the glass. If you are anywhere near here, stop by.

I have been to the South Shore Terrace many times to visit the beer garden and hang out by the lake. Always a good time, and the drink selection is always changing and varied. I have also had the privilege of making photographs at South Shore Terrace with some of my wedding couples, and the place is beautiful. Inside and out, the venue is unique and has no shortage of super photogenic areas to explore. I always look forward to the next time I'll be at South Shore Terrace, either as a Milwaukeean looking to grab an outdoor drink by the lake or as a photographer working with one of the great couples and all the great vendors of this city.

It was very nice and the food was delicious. You can sit inside, on the patio(but you can't see lake Michigan from there) and can sit out on the grassy area right next to the water. They have a good selection of beer and drinks as well as. They have a menu it's not very big but enough to enjoy a lunch or dinner. The fish fry on Fridays is very good and a good portion too. The bathrooms are clean and there is wheelchair access.

This is an informal place next to the lake ideal to drink a beer with friends. They offer a variety of draft and canned beers, and have a food menu of sandwiches and salads. The prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere during the Summer is very good. There are many outdoor tables with a great view over the lake.
Only in Milwaukee Wisconsin (I think) does the county provide multiple beer gardens as part of its park system! Well, we tried one of them, South Shore Terrace Beer Garden and loved it ! Great selection of beers and food and park setting over looking Lake Michigan. What else could you want ? Service was very friendly and the crowd was having a great time as did our small part of that crowd

Beautiful park lakeside, The beer garden is located on the lakeside of the pavilion, and you can access it from the pavilion front by going down the stairs or walking around the building towards the lake. There is outside and inside dining available. We shared a buffalo and bleu burger, which comes with parmesan truffle fries. Ordered an extra round of fries to go with that and it was plenty! We drank delicious Sprecher root beer. $5 a glass, $3 refills. You get to keep the glass to take home. 🥰 It has the names of the Southside beer gardens on it, which includes South Shore Terrace, The Vine at Humboldt Park, and Whitnall Park beer garden.
Located in South Shore Park in Milwaukee on the shore of Lake Michigan. Great food, reasonably priced, and fun atmosphere. The chalets are a fun way to get “outdoors” during the winter.
