Standard in our take out rotation. David and his family/ staff are so nice. Great service, solid food. The chon qing chicken is a favorite. Egg rolls good and cold sesame noodles never disappoint. Food is always hot.

Nice looking interior, though small. I didn't look around, but I don't think you could have a party larger than 4. Food was tasty. We enjoyed the veggie egg rolls - crunchy and fairly large. Dinner portions were decent, and the three of us had enough left over to take home. Good garlic flavor on the beef with pan fried noodles. Could have used more beef. The orange chicken had a great glaze with a decent amount of orange zest without being overpowering. The General's chicken contains ginger, which I didn't care for; I had hoped for more heat. Pricing is fair for what you get. Service was good.

I had my first visit with my brother and his wife who go there a lot. I'll be honest, I wasn't crazy about my dish just because I ordered it without thinking that of course I would get the kind of noodles I got. I don't like fried things that much so I should have known to maybe not get the pan fried noodles. It was a really good meal though and the boba was great. I definitely look forward to coming in the next time I'm around and ordering something I know I'll actually like.

My second visit to the East Garden was as good as my first. We ordered two dishes and had soup, too. Every thing was very tasty. The sauces had a very nice flavor and the soup was very hot. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. I'll be back

We usually do delivery or carry out. My wife loves the sesame tofu. The food isn't mind blowing or anything, but it's good Chinese food. I'm a fan of a few of there soups. Egg drop soup is always a good compliment to what ever you order. And I've always been pleased with anything I've ordered. Delivery is always prompt, and the food is always hot and just what we ordered. Quality Chinese food, at a fair price. As far as dine in goes, we've only been a few times, the service can be a bit slow at times, but again, the food is always great. And the décor? It's a Chinese restaurant strait out of the 60s or 70s. I like it, it's like a set piece out of an episode of "Man from u.n.c.l.e." or " I spy" so throw on your shark skin suit and your sunglasses, and order up some shrimp fried rice!

Very cozy and warm restaurant to experience Chinese food. I love this place for their chicken lo mein, however, the last time we were there, it was too salty. Make sure to let them know if you prefer low salt in your food. Overall, a clean, nice and comfortable place to dine out.

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch for 6 old ladies - one celebrating a 90th birthday. David went out of his way to give us super special attention which was deeply appreciated. The food was excellent and my husband and I will be returning soon.

I have been eating at East Garden ever since they first opened in like 1983 or something. Now that their son has taken over the wonderful food and service has remained the same. I especially appreciate their many vegetarian options.
