Really enjoy the Stackner Cabaret as part of our REP season tickets. Lots of interesting acts and an intimate settings. We wouldn't always choose some of the music genres that we see, but we are usually happy with the performances. In the past, the staffing for the drinks/food can be a little inconsistent, but on this last visit it was very good. Could have been that they were not sold out, and it was the first show of the season.
Drinks are good. We usually eat someone else and have dessert here. The Brown Butter Cake (a new offering) was very good. Would get that again.
The venue is cozy. I like that the seating is close to the stage! Lights dim for the performance.
Orders stop 15 minutes prior to showtime. Often a long, long, long wait for food/drink service. You can order again at intermission.
There is a place to hang coats. Seating is at tall bar height tables or dinner table height.
Dinner was excellent before the Rep show. Easy location to reserve and very reasonable on the price fixed menu. The reuben was excellent so was the salmon and the mushroom ravoli. Note the tirimisu is not tirimisu in the normal sense but more a tirimisu cake. Surprised how good service as as well.
This venue is amazing. Not a bad seat in the house. The food and drinks are decent. The Dinner menu is way better than lunch. Charge your tesla in the parking lot for free during the show
Saw the Whitney Houston Tribute last night and it was my most favorite concert to date! Alesia Miller was fantastic and Charlotte Odusanya was just wonderful. Truly enjoyed every minute listening to these two very talented women.
The Cabaret is fun & nastolgic. So far I have seen the Judy Garland and Nat King Cole tributes and the talent was amazing! Note that food/beverage orders stop 15 minutes before the opening and resume at intermission. One change I would make is opening the space in front of the stage for dancing to the ballads the band plays. I really think the senior audience would enjoy it!
Went to see the Whitney show it was amazing! The bar staff was friendly and loved the small space environment.
Excellent dining experience! My husband and I attended a play at the Stackner Cabernet and decided to try their dinner menu. Not only was the play very entertaining, but I was surprised by the quality of their food. The menu is diverse and the chef is talented. What a nice surprise. We will definitely be eating at the Stackner again. Oh, and I can’t forget the service- superb!
Stackner has consistently produced programs that are enjoyable and entertaining with excellent talent. It's a highlight of Milwaukee's theater scene.
Always a great venue for great entertainment
