Only place I can find beef barley soup!! Stopped today for a bowl and on a whim, decided to try a meatloaf sandwich...and it was EXCELLENT! My new fav sandwich!! (But the ham salad will always be close to the top!!!)

What a cute place!! I went in there after a post on Milwaukee Foodie and I wasn't disappointed. We picked up several things (photos included) and went home to try them. Everything was amazing. Being from Germany myself it's very hard to find Bienenstich. Kurt's is amazing! It's not too sweet and the filling is custard based. The almond horns were amazing! They have just the right amount of almonds and chocolate. The store also has an eating area inside and out. The atmosphere was very welcoming and Kurt himself greeted us at the door. The prices are very reasonable and honestly, he could absolutely charge more and he'd probably get it. They have soups and sandwiches and salads, including German potato. I'll definitely be going back and recommending this place to all my friends.

Melt in your mouth chicken salad sandwich on rye. Wow I can still taste it as I type. You'd think a chicken salad wouldn't be much. Wrong. Amazing gourmet flavor. Called it in and picked it up 5 minutes later. Really nice people work there. I'll be back.

The Bienenstich is divine and the customer service was great! I've been searching for bienenstich after tasting this delicious dessert at German fest a couple of years ago. This deli did NOT disappoint!

Brian and his staff are working hard and making your stay at home or pick up orders during this unprecedented time! The cornbeef, made from scratch soups, rolls and sweets are beyond delicious! you MUST stop and get your take out and #SUPPORT LOCAL # LOVE LOCAL !!

Great service and selection. Coffee is bottomless when ordered. Incredibly comfortable ambiance experience. Kurt's mustache is 11/10 would rate higher if I could.
