I loved the family-run feel of the restaurant, and the pizza was delicious! I love how the sauce is different than any other pizzas I've had in Milwaukee, and it's great that they serve their biggest pizza in a square shaped pan, I loved that! The service was great too!
Delicious pizza; sauce is definitely a highlight, quality sausage, and crust is nice and crispy on the outside. Mom-and-pop shop feel to the place. I wouldn't try and compare it to other MKE pizza joints like Transfer or Ian's (both also delicious), it has its own unique style that I'm just in the mood for sometimes.
DeMarinis' pizza is one of the top things that I miss about Milwaukee. My family had been regulars at the original DeMarinis, later known as Mama DeMarinis, since the early 1960s, and I continued to love their pizza until the day I moved out of town. I recently had the chance to visit MKE and try Little DeMarinis for the first time, and I can tell you that the pizza was every bit as incredible as what I remember so well. For Milwaukee thin-crust pizza, there is no finer.
My wife and I go to Little Demarini's to indulge on one of their 'The Works' pizzas. If you love a LOT of sausage and toppings and not a doughy crust, this is the place to go. It's not cheap, but you get an excellent pizza for the extra $$. We will miss them when they close later this year!
According to my dad, the pizza is very similar or not exactly the same recipe from Mama Demarinis. You get plenty of toppings with a crusts that isn't too thick, but still holds all the Marinara, mozzarella, sausage, fresh mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and so forth on toppings. My family has gone here so regulary that the owner has came over and spoke with us. Very friendly and seeming appreciative if customers. Their appitizers are decent and waiters and waitresses are friendly enough!
We were seated right away. The cheese garlic bread was great and the pizza was very very good! My son loved it and he is picky! We will definitely be back!
Great Pizza!! If you love to go out on a Friday or Saturday, and enjoy a great pizza with friends and family, Little DeMarines should be your next stop. After you try their pizza, I'm sure you'll be hooked.
Just saying, the pizza was great and my wife has celiac disease and they offer a gluten free crust which she said was one of the best ever. Our waitress was very attentive, overall a very good experience. Update, the place has closed
Great pizza. One of the few places left you can still get artichoke hearts if you please. Get the large pan size so you have leftovers.
Great pizza, just like MaMa DeMarinis use to have. So good to be able to enjoy that pizza, again. One of our favorite places to come
