The food was amazing. We both had the Bistro Steak and it was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were fresh and the sauce on this dish was reason enough to come back. The selection of beers on tap was great. I wish I knew our waiter’s name because he made the whole evening perfect. We can’t wait to visit again and try other dishes on the menu. Thank you for a great dining experience.
Loved the Wisconsin flavor of the menu. I tried two different items and both bursting with flavor. One was a frittata with cheese and veggies, another was a brat/kraut roll with delicious sauce. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back to try other selections

Stopped by recently after a local street festival. The food was great! We all had appetizers and shared them. Everything was delicious! The cheese dip with house made potato chips was divine! We will be back. Has a huge beer garden too.
This place just may be the best kept secret in Milwaukee! Food here is excellent and the chefs are willing to go above & beyond for any special dietary needs. The Bloody Mary's have just the right amount of spice and even come with a chaser.
Would've been 5 stars if it weren't for the slow service (and we were the only ones in the restaurant).
Honest to a T. The staff at Milwaukee Beer Bistro will tell you like it is. Their friendly staff will tell you what their favorite dishes are, and the food comes out exactly as described. They arent afraid of doing seperate cheques, and they ate well situated for accomodating large groups. Stop in to Milwaukee Beer Bistro next time youre around Humboldt and looking for a good munch.
Good food, large beer selection, nice patio, rarely busy. Beef shortrib sandwich is supposedly top 10 sandwich in USA
We've been to Beer Bistro and both times have been pleasant experiences. They have a great beer selection as the name would indicate. The food is very good and the guy that served us both times was very nice and helpful. The only negative point is the grilled cheese is a pretty standard American cheese affair if you don't want bacon on it. Otherwise, the other dishes we've had were excellent.
Note: Both times we've sat outside, so I have no idea what it's like inside.
Update: Went back again and this time we sat inside. Had a different sever who was very nice.
Great place. I'm surprised it isn't busier since the place really has no flaws. The menu is simple but tasty and features a healthy selection of vegan/vegetarian dishes that don't feel like afterthoughts. The beer menu is as large as the name of the bar would suggest and the interior is clean, welcoming and modern. I've been here many times have never had a problem with service.
Mostly the Beer Bistro is a hidden gem of a brunch place. They have an outstanding brunch menu that is surprisingly affordable and they make a tasty Bloody Mary to boot. Most importantly it isn't usually very busy so you can almost always get a table immediately even with a group of 6 or more. I walked in on a Saturday at noon and got a table of 8 seated in 5 minutes. Everybody in my family (including the 3 vegans) came away satisfied.
Next time Wolf Peach gives you a 90 minute estimate for a table head over to the Beer Bistro.
Hidden gem! We went here with a gift card. Showed up at noon for kickoff on a Packer-game Sunday, and we were surprised it was almost empty. Really, we were the only people there! A few others showed up, ate, and left a short while later. Not sure why it was so empty; the food was great. Beer brat soup was excellent. Really good deep fried cheese curds. And enjoyed an awesome Beer-B-Que Short Rib sandwich. Really no complaints...can't believe this place wasn't shoulder-to-shoulder packed for the game. Go here; you won't be disappointed. Show up with a big group for the game and it will feel like you rented the place for your personal party!
My first time here was a great one. Marley our server was great. Food was great. I had their perch fish fry and it was amazing. My girlfriend had their salmon and it was amazing. Definitely coming back!
It's got a small food menu. But what's on there is pretty damn good. I got the rib sandwich that was on the travel channel apparently and it was pretty amazing. Just don't k how why they choose to put this huge hunk of meat on a little delicate brioche bun. But good food and good beer it's a good place.
This is a great place for a huge selection of local and not-so-local craft tap beer! The chalk board is always up to date with current taps! Tuesday Wing Night! 75¢ wings! Website needs to be updated though. These guys run the Beer Garden at Hubbard Park! Great times!
