Fuel Cafe 5th St.

I have been coming to Fuel for a long time and I am never disappointed. I love the high energy atmosphere, they have a variety of drinks that are both classic and unique, and the food is simple yet delicious. Another great place with outstanding vegetarian options. The service is fast and friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more.

I have been coming to this place since i was a kid, my father camilo would bring me in every damn day and i would always get one of their amazing cookies. My grandfather had a build around the area called joes east coast car shops, we would always run for a nice hot cup of coffee. LOVE THE PLACE to this day and always will. Huge supporter for fuel, i love the work guys and gals keep it UP. PS... The food and service are amazing just have to be nice to them, respect is a two way street foaks

By no means am i regular, but I have been here a few times. Service is hit or miss, generally leaning towards lack of concern from your order taker/ cashier (the "lousy service"sign in the window doesn't seem ti be a joke). Being a neighborhood hang out, I think this is the preferred interaction and level of service. Coffee and drink options are varied, and good. Smoothies, coffees, lattes, juices, etc... Full sandwich menu, with a unique spin. Just about everyone could find something to enjoy (no diet restriction, vegetarian, vegan). More chips than needed are served with each order.

Versatile menu with options for both the healthy and the hearty eater. Cool motorcycle/BMX vibe. They have a variety of creative mixed drinks like The Bomb - an Aperol, champagne, and Bomb Pop (yes, the popsicle!) - and a solid craft beer list. Fun fact: all summer you can add a Bomb Pop to your drink for $1! Fuel also doubles as a coffee shop with an upstairs sitting area where people were set up with their computers. (The WiFi password is “fuelcoffee”) We weren’t super hungry so we came in for a light lunch. We ordered the green bean appetizer and the Sly Turkey sandwich (turkey, cucumber, sprouts, avocado, and sriracha mayo on whole grain bread) to split. The green beans were expertly flavored and the sandwich had the perfect amount of crunch and flavor. I appreciated the detail of toasting and buttering the bread. The prices were very reasonable and Jade provided excellent service. We would 100% come back!

I’m not lying. I’m not exaggerating. I’m in FEAR for their Cold Brew Coffee. I went there around 1:30-2:30 in the afternoon for coffee with my best friend. It is 4:16 pm the NEXT DAMN DAY. I have not slept a wink. I cant sleep. I have no other reason other than drinking this coffee. I’m jittery and I’m tired. I called in from Work and I SWEAR IM TELLING THE TRUTH. Other than that food is great. Atmosphere is great. Workers are amazing.
