I was very impressed, it was Cinco de Mayo and the place was busy. We were dated in about 15 minutes, the server was there right away. We ordered I had the wet burrito and it was the best Mexican food I have had in Milwaukee. It was delicious. The place itself is very neat. The service was great and the food was beyond belief. I highly recommend it.
Food was delicious, the guacamole was a massive portion & some of the best I've ever had. My husband loved his fillet mignon burrito which is saying a lot because he can be a really picky eater, lol. The decor is bright and kitschy. When it's warmer the patio is lovely. I highly recommend it here. Oh and our waiter was very good and the food came super fast!
This is our go-to weekend restaurant for Mexican food! There's complimentary chips and salsa with a purchase. We've been here maybe 8 times and we've never not gotten some variation of the burrito. The seafood burrito is great, otherwise the pork wet burrito is another favorite. They are large and plenty of food if you include the chips and salsa. It's a pretty large restaurant, so we normally haven't had to wait for a table. The beverage list is well-priced. We enjoy this location better than the others in the Milwaukee area due to the atmosphere and service.
First time coming here and the food was delicious. They seriously give you a lot of food for the price I could only eat half! Everything was delicious. I had a side of the strawberry lemonade, it was very tasty. The service was fantastic, and food came out quickly. Will be back again!
Our group of 5 stopped here during brunch hours at a weekend but everything on their menu is available, not just breakfast items. There are multiple dining areas, brightly decorated, including the bar. Parking was relatively easy on the street at 11am. The food here was outstanding for the group: burritos are well stuffed with meats (Best Burrito and Breakfast Burrito are two on the menu that we had) and the red and green sauces are deeply flavored and smooth. The green salsa verde with chips is moderately spicy (6/10). Rustic seating, cheery service. Group members said the bloody mary drinks were very good especially the pickles. Recommended
One of my go-to Mexican restaurants! Great margaritas and tasty, fresh Mexican food. My favorite things on the menu are the best burrito and the chicken tostadas
Amazing food. I cannot decide a favorite between the steak tacos, the rice, the chips & salsa and the refried beans! I also attended a 21st dinner here and they gave the birthday person a shot of tequila and I got a really good strawberry margarita. I'd wait an hour to dine here it's just that good.
This place is absolutely amazing my wife and I came here with some friends a couple weeks ago for breakfast and all of us were blown away with how amazing all of our food was! After we had our first bites none of us said another word until we all were done eating, that's how good this place is! If you are looking for a great spot for breakfast this is it! We will definitely be back to try dinner!
Food was outstanding! They seemed to be a bit short on staff when we were there. We observed our waiter bussing tables and sweeping the floor. But, I guess that's the way things are these days, short on help. We ate inside, table was tight for 8 people, but let's call it "cozy". I hear there's an outdoor area, but we didn't see it. No blended margaritas though, I was bummed.
A great Mexican place in an area crowded with many options. Have been here several times but not since pandemic. Thankfully it is still a good experience. Son got vegan tacos which came with a salad. I got ala cart Tilapia taco and chicken taco. My wife got cheese enchiladas. Delicious!
Probably the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long long time.
The tacos were LOADED with meat and everything had great flavor. I got the chicken, beef and carnitas for my meats.
I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
What a great find. So glad to have stumbled upon this as only local downtown options seemed to be commandeering any search results. The service was great, food was made perfectly, and flavors were amazing. We had a soy chorizo breakfast burrito and chilaquiles verde with eggs. The only setback is discovering this place for the last meal in town and not having one near my location. Not to mention not trying the cocktails. Sauces to purchase and take home is a bonus.
