Tre Rivali... it's so hard to start writing a review at a place that exceeded all expectations I had. Working in the service industry has really opened my eyes to new dining places and my good friend Arin Dietz absolutely shattered the ceiling on food and drinks. Took my girlfriend here for a date night when she got back from Mexico. The food was one of the best meals I've had in Milwaukee, top 3 for sure. We also had the best server in the restaurant hands down, ask for Mara she knows what you want before you do. I will be back but will probably stay at the hotel connected to this amazing restaurant. If you are planning to come here name drop Arin and Mara for sure. They will take the best care of you I promise. Seriously go eat here. Seriously.
We absolutely love this place. Food is amazing, drinks are reasonable, and dessert was to die for. Ask for Kameron with a K and he’ll take great care of you!
The atmosphere is super cute.
We had the private property rose which was very good, meatballs were pretty good, falafel was a little dry but good, hummus and pita was fantastic, gnocchi and pappardelle were both fantastic as well. The only disappointing dish was the chicken (pictured.) The flavor and sauces were pretty good but the presentation just wasn’t what I expected.
Would go again and get the falafel, hummus, pita, and a Mediterranean salad!
Great experience. Reasonable pricing for dinner entrees and beers, but standard white and Cabernet wine by the glass was $15-$16! Otherwise I'd give 5 stars.
Very difficult parking, busy popular area of MKE.
Overall great experience at dinner last night! The service was wonderful, the sangria to die for, and I couldn’t get enough of the prosciutto and summer melon plus the Mediterranean salad. Only thing that could have been better was the Lamb Kafka too salty and heavy on the Italian spices. Tasted more like Italian sausage than Lamb.
I have dined here a few times and I enjoy the fact that the menu changes periodically. This time we had the gnocchi, pizza, meatballs, and pasta. Everything was delicious. Service was great, staff is friendly, and the place has a wonderful atmosphere.
My friends and I were walking the city and found Tre Rivali to be a wonderful place to stop for breakfast/lunch. The Mediterranean salad with chicken was fantastic, and the bar made some excellent mixed drinks. Additionally, the servers were very friendly and stopped by frequently to check on us. I would definitely recommend stopping by.
Fyi, this is a very nice restaurant. We were jeans, t shirts, and sandals but felt a bit out of place. You may want to consider a collared shirt if visiting.
My favorite go to lunch and dinner place. The manager John is amazing and the head Chef often stops at our table to say hello. The waitstaff is kind and they always do their best to make sure we are satisfied. The wine menu is great and the food is delectable. Wood stove pizzas are delicious (you can smell the wood burning stove from the minute you walk through the door) and the small plates and bites are especially delicious. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I also love their menu is seasonal. Super fun since we come several times. It’s always fun to see what their new menu will include.
Perfect location, great atmosphere (the wood grill aroma is amazing) and the best service by Ben. Seating is generously spaced to allow for personal conversations. The charcuterie board (which changes daily) was an excellent portion of meats, cheeses & misc for two. Beet Salad was one of the best I've had. Wood grilled branzino was very tasty. The 4 stars for food were due the spice rubbed chicken being dry and the bread pudding dessert not being very tasty.
This was likely the best restaurant experience I've had yet in my time living in Milwaukee. Service was timely and very professionally polite-- at times it was like the server could almost read my mind-- and dishes were generously portioned and beautifully made. Dessert was to die for. Great place, very comfortable atmsphere.
I appreciate that Tre Rivali was open for Thanksgiving! The buffet was everything you’re looking for and more on Thanksgiving day. The staff from the manager, host, bartenders, and servers were all incredibly nice and welcoming to those celebrating their holiday here. It seemed like there was an efficient system with the kitchen so food was always fresh. I’d come back for another holiday!
It was a sunny Labor Day. We visited our Marquette freshman and took him to Tre Rivali for a brunch. Although the service was slow, the patio had a great ambience, food was well prepared and the cappuccino tastes better than I expected.
