Unbelievable. What this group of chefs can do with a beet is truly some kind of mystical business. The stuff of legends. Don’t miss burger night on Tuesdays; it’s like no “burger” night you’ve ever tasted. This is like you took the idea of a pizza farm and went hog wild. Good luck going wherever you’re going if you’re not going to Goodkind

Really enjoyed the drinks and service that we got. We just went for the cocktails on the patio, so I can’t speak to the food. Menu is on the pricier side, but drinks were high quality. I got the sangria, which was excellent.

Cozy!
The server was pleasant and helpful and just the right amount of attention. Generous pot of hot tea with offers for second steeping, right on time. Dining room management checked on us. A rare dedication to quality service all around. Respect!
Girlfriend had the Amish Chicken, and I had the Linguini. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It was moist and tender and deliciously seasoned. Vegetables were not overcooked. Linguini was cooked perfectly. It was also delicious with great texture.
Overall, the food was not exotic, but the cooking was high level, inspired, and rewarding. Flavors were subtly complex and interesting. So, though the dishes may fall into the comfort food category, it was far beyond standard comfort food.
We love all kinds of inspired cooking and have enjoyed touring the great Milwaukee restaurants. This is an excellent restaurant that we will enjoy dining at in the future. We appreciate that the food is accessible to the less adventurous diner. This will be a great place to take friends and family when they visit.

We got lucky that a friend gave us this recommendation for our date night in MKE (from Chicago). The food was incredible. Our server, CJ, was an absolute dream.
The Amish chicken, spicy crab pasta, and mushroom appetizer were all amazing. Desserts were so hard to choose between. The entire vibe is perfectly curated and so wonderful.
Do not pass up the opportunity to hang out inside either of the adorable bathrooms.

A quaint, cozy restaurant with delicious food. We ate outside on patio, but interior was inviting and will definitely return to experience it. It was 1/2 off wine bottles on night we were there, which was a bonus! We will be back!

Big fan... Caesar salad with toast(might be the best toast I've eaten) and crab pasta was amazing! The bar tenders were helpful, kind and attentive!!!

Really cozy spot tucked right into the Bay View neighborhood with nice comfy vibe for dining. Incredible selection of different kinds of food and wine. The service was outstanding! Server was very knowledgeable about all the wines and dishes on the menu. Went on a Sunday and they offered half-off all bottles of wine! Can't beat that! Tried several different dishes and shareable plates. the swordfish spread, oyster mushrooms, and pork belly were some of the highlights but everything we tried was fantastic! Would recommend to anyone!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Six Stars is what I give this place if possible. The food, the staff, the cooks, and atmosphere were excellent. This is a hidden gem in Milwaukee. The menu is changing which is all the reason to return and try out some of the favorites as well as some new items! Will definitely return. Thank you for making our last night in the city special! Goodkind is a great local "neighborhood" eatery nestled in the Bay View area. Cozy, homey, and warm are all words I would use to describe the ambiance created when entering Goodkind. I certainly thought one of the highlights of the meal was our service. We had a very attentive staff who bustled about the small space with ease and somehow danced around one another with grace while bringing dishes out to the masses. I appreciate that the last time we were here, Goodkind was still getting its legs, but a mainstay is the spicy crab pasta. A mound of crab atop a mountain of pasta with pepperoni and a slightly spicy sauce. I also thoroughly enjoyed the broasted chicken. Oh my, it was one of the best, juiciest chickens I have had in a while. I was hoping for a red meat selection, but alas, none was to be had the evening we were there. That does speak to how they source their food, and I do appreciate that they maintain high standards for quality. The gataeu for dessert was also a mainstay and should not be missed if you have a sweet tooth. Judging by how busy our sitting was, it is no wonder Goodkind will be around for a long time to come!
