We had a Party of 6 during lunch on a Sunday. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Very clean. Our server was on top of everything. She explained the menus and buffet very well as it was our first time there. There was no waiting. We were served with the utmost courtesy. The food was terrific. And the Birthday Sunday was fantastic! Thank you for making our Son’s 21st Bday more special.
I came all the way from Michigan to come visit Milwaukee and my friend wanted me to come down here and try y'alls wings and all I have to say is Amazing! The white cilantro BBQ wings are a must have, Love at first bite!
It was our first time dining at Saz’s and we liked it! We celebrated a quiet birthday dinner. The food was decent. We had a great time! The staff were very polite and friendly!
My wife and I ate dinner at Saz's and not only got excellent service but the food was great too. The ribs were tender, the wings were crispy, and the macaroni was bursting with flavor. They also have a free shuttle to the Brewers games and drink deals on game day. Great food and experience.
I took my parents here for dinner and it was really good. We started out with the riblets with the classic sauce and onion straws. The riblets were bigger than anticipated and so tender. For the entree I got the chicken and waffles and it was really sweet. The chicken were chicken tenders and not bone in chicken. Moist chicken and fluffy waffles. My dad said the BLT-A sandwich and said the bacon was good but the sandwich was a little greasy for his liking. My mom got the pulled pork and loved it. I wish they had onion rings but the straws were good.
The fish was excellent and the fries and coal slaw were very good. My wife didn’t eat the potato pancakes said they were too greasy. The best part of meal was Katie our server! She was on the move constantly but made time to care for each of her customers!!! It was a litter pricey in my opinion. $40 for two fish fries with water and one ice tea. All in all I’m glad we chose Saz’s
So yeah, I have loved Saz's for years, having eaten their food at Summerfest every year I've gone. In my eyes, their sampler platter is an institution.
I was in the area this past weekend and decided to go to their restaurant with my wife and a friend. It was not busy at all for a Saturday night, which I found a bit odd, but hey...
We started off with the festival combo and I apologize, as we started digging in before I got a decent pic, it was that inviting. My wife ordered the BBQ loaded mac and cheese while I got the Red, White, and Blue Burger on a pretzel bun.
My burger was cooked a perfect medium rare, just like I ordered, and it was a fantastic greasy burger! My wife's mac and cheese was fantastically creamy and delicious as well.
If there is one criticism, it was almost too much food for us. The portions were really good size and that is not a bad thing, but they were almost too big. Not complaining though!
Overall, it was a fun time and the atmosphere was great.
Great atmosphere. Food and beet were amazing. Perfect place to grab a shuttle to a Bucks game. Wish they had shuttle service to Admirals games though!
The food and service were awesome! It's definitely worth it, and I will be back!
We were so happy we asked our son for a suggestion on where to eat before a Brewers game. He said that Saz's is the place to go. The food was great and the drinks even better. Service was attentive and friendly without being annoying. The convenience of being only 4 minutes away from the stadium was a plus. They do offer a shuttle to the game as well. Highly recommend.
Saz's is known for their stand at the Wisconsin State Fair. This place is where it all comes from. Got the Sour Cream and chive fries- Fantastic as always. Got the Beer batter cheese curds- a staple here. And the Stephanie burger was great, cooked perfectly. This is a cute place, with nice amount of tvs for sports, and a nice dining room and outdoor patio. Although its under a busy road. I'll be back many times, I'm sure. My server was very friendly and prompt as well.
Went for a birthday dinner for our oldest daughter's birthday and went with a large party of 20. The service was great, fast, and friendly. I can't speak for everyone but my fiancée got a burger and I the pulled pork. The burger was just okay and the pulled pork was slathered in sause and there wasn't much meat on the sandwich. Would not recommend either of these options if you are going there. But my daughter loves their ribs so we went there for her special day.
