Good selection of different empanadas. Empanadas were hit or miss but some of them very good (4 of the 7 we tried). Comes with a very tasty chimmichuri sauce. If you enjoy empanadas it's a must try.

Good food. The Argentinian beef empanada was not for my taste, but I liked the chicken pesto and the spinach one. Parking was also a hassle. I'd definitely recommend trying it, though

La Masa invites with a fun atmosphere, catchy music, and a nice social space for a late lunch, dinner, or a late night out. The food is good, mildly creative, and pairs well with their chosen style! However, the menu items feel they could use a tad more flavor, the drink selection, and Sangria steal the show from their namesake (the empanadas). Service was good and attentive, though speaking up may be necessary due to music. Overall, I will be returning, especially when having a fun time along the strip on Brady!

I can't say I've ever been to an empanada bar before so this was probably my first. What's not to love about empanasas? A pastry pocket stuffed with meat or veggies or cheese, it's a simple concept and La Masa does it well. The menu offers 16 different empanadas including black bean and chorizo, spinach and cheese, Wisco Corn, Cuban with ham and cheese and pickles and mustard. I opted for the "La Masa Trio" which includes three so I chose Argentine Beef, Lamb Barbacoa and Jamon y Queso (ham and cheese). They took about ten minutes (heating them up, I suppose?) and were presented on a tray with a bowl of jicama slaw and chimichurri. They were hot and while I had high hopes for the ham and cheese, that was my least favorite. It tasted too sweet. The beef was my favorite of the three, well stuffed and with a rich baked flavor. The empanadas themselves were good - flaky and buttery. La Masa has a full bar but it's lunchtime on a workday and a cocktail would definitely have put me out for the afternoon. They have Coke products and several other non-alcoholic drinks.

Drug reps bought these to our office & they were a hit. Then I visited on my own. Love the restaurant the only but is the parking, it sucks. Other then that I'll be back!

Opted to try La Masta instead of this other restaurant and I was glad I did in the end! The restaurant itself is big inside and out, easy to move around in, and has a pleasant atmosphere that went beyond just being a bar! Service was good on all ends; attentive, pleasant and just nice to talk to really! The food was great on almost all ends! I've never has Argentian food or STYLED food and what I had, the meat packets that come from Argentina, were flavorful, tasty, and hard NOT to wolf down, fries and main course and dessert, all at a VERY reasonable price! My only complaint is the appetizer was just....not a good combo that went with cheese TO ME but they were still good! Give La Masa a chance, everything about this restaurant is good! Videos and pictures are of the outside and inside of the building, menu, and food I got!

Try them all. And get the coleslaw! We weren’t sure if empanadas were a good dinner choice while visiting from New Orleans but this exceeded every expectation, you must go.

Of course down on Brady Street, or the East Side period is always a good time. This empanada bar has a variety of not just empanadas, but sandwiches and other things on the menu. Beer on tap, mixed drinks, as well as outdoor seating for you to enjoy your order outside. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the restrooms are basic restrooms BUT CLEAN & FRESH (2 unisex & 1 family restroom). Check the menu for the ordering option, but we ordered 12 empanadas to try a variety since it was our first time AND YOU CAN INCLUDE A DESERT EMPANADA IN THE 12. Since they are made fresh daily and only a certain number are made, they do run out if there aren't anymore. And if you're vegetarian, there are a number of meat free options. I highly recommend trying them out.

SOOOO good it tastes AMAZING the people are wonderful I never had an issue with them. The place looks great and I love the candles on the table once it gets dark! I ate so fast because of how good they taste, that sauce that they give too.. my god it's INCREDIBLY GOOD 100/10 recommend. If I lived closer I'd come here so much more.
